Cooking Class - Festival in the Caribbean
It's a celebration of zesty flavors from sweet to spicy in an energetic sea-side spread!
Fill your table with edible sunshine in this vibrant in-person cooking class, courtesy of Chef Nick. He'll share his magic for preparing an authentic Caribbean banquet with all the tropical trimmings!
Begin your culinary excursion with a lesson in twice-fried plantains, a savory appetizer served with spicy mayo-ketchup for dipping. Create an avocado salad topped with the bright zing of chimichurri in vinaigrette form and prepare a traditional entrée of chicken and moro de gandules that will make Abuela proud! For dessert, concoct a creamy coconut salted caramel flan.
Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

It was an outstanding evening with Chef Nick. Nick shared his family story about the meals he grew up with. He was engaging and showed us how to make some really delicious Carribean dishes.

This cooking experience with Chef Nick was one of the most amazing hands-on experiences we have had! We had the one of a kind opportunity to cook in a commercial kitchen and practice some delicious recipes! Chef Nick made us feel super empowered by allowing us to do a lot of it hands on! We enjoyed the conversations and not only learnt some new recipes but also learnt better knife skills! The other highlight for me personally was learning how to debone a chicken for the first time! Chef Nick was super kind to share lots of great his tips and ticks! We highly recommend experiencing this with Chef Nick, and cannot wait to come back again!

This was an amazing experience!! Everyone had so much fun and learned a lot. Great to see how co-workers interact with each other. Chef Nick was an informative and very good teacher. The meal was delicious - I will certainly recommend Chef Nick and Cozymeal to my associates and friends.
Chef Nick began his cooking career after high school working in restaurants in Massachusetts before attending culinary school and graduating with honors. He externed in Italy where he worked on a farm, attended cooking school and worked in a restaurant, all before returning to Boston. After a stint selling importing gourmet ingredients, he began teaching others the culinary arts. Now, Chef Nick is busy catering, teaching and expanding his own culinary empire.
