Cooking Class - Seasonal Pie Making
With Chef Madi's help, guests in this interactive cooking class will learn the art of pie-making, from developing a flaky, buttery crust to achieving a perfectly golden brown bake. Embrace the warm, comforting flavors of fall and winter while making three holiday-ready pies using seasonal ingredients.
Begin by practicing balancing sweetness and seasoning in a smooth and creamy sweet potato pie, a staple dessert in the South. Next, prepare a sticky, nutty filling for a classic pecan pie, and finally, master blending an array of spices for a holiday favorite: Traditional pumpkin pie.
