Learn how to make a classic steakhouse-style meal featuring butter basted steak, a decadent dessert and more.
Join Chef Jared for an interactive cooking class learning how to make rich recipes often featured on steakhouse menus. These classic dishes will all be made from scratch, and are as enjoyable to eat as they are to make.
You'll begin with the appetizer, roasting shrimp in butter to serve with almond romesco and prosciutto chips. Then, you'll prepare a butter-based hanger steak with red wine sauce, and braised carrots and roasted beets on the side. For dessert, Chef Jared will teach you how to make buttermilk vanilla bean panna cotta.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
Chef Jared WAS GREAT !!! He has amazing techniques for preping and cooking components of a great meal. He shared his techniques with us and watched us do them to be sure we were on the right track. He was very through and made sure we understood things as we went along. We have taken a lot of classes along our culinary adventure (43 states) and we still learned new techniques from Chef Jared. We highly recomme3nd taking a class (or two) from him.

Jared was very interactive and explained each step of the process. There were a few things that he did in advance to save time, but he was good to explain what and why.

The experience was incredible and a great memory and date night experience. Chef Jared was a great teacher and shared stories and insights behind the how and why food was prepared a certain way and offered great advice to take away. Definitely recommend and look forward to the next experience!

Chef Jared was great!! He was very welcoming, had everything ready for us to start cooking when we got there. The food was delicious! Bruschetta for a starter which was amazing, pasta carbonara with homemade noodles which was so much fun to make & then the beignets...absolutely delicious! Highly recommend!

Chef Jared taught me how to make a creamy mushroom soup using two kinds of mushrooms and a mire a poix. It was a quick easy soup to warm the bones this winter. He demonstrated how to chop all of the ingredients so they are the same size and cook evenly. When he was finished he garnished the soup beautifully. It looked like a fine dining presentation. He also is super friendly and personable. I enjoyed my time learning with Chef Jared.
For Chef Jared, cooking is much, much more than a profession. Blending his creativity and extensive background in the culinary arts, he enjoys sharing his passion with the world. After being certified at Le Cordon Bleu, Chef Jared held the role as line chef at the Grand Hotel in Barcelona. He has owned several restaurants throughout the years and currently provides fine dining experiences through his own catering company.
