Cooking Class - New Orleans Classics
Discover new recipes while exploring the history of Cajun and Creole influence in each dish.
Take a trip to the French Quarter with this hands-on cooking class centered around a New Orleans feast. You'll learn about the evolution of cuisine in this region and the differences between Cajun and Creole fare.
Chef Linda will teach you how to create several N'Awlins classics, including a BBQ shrimp starter, jambalaya with chicken and sausage, and a Creole-style slaw. A true Big Easy meal isn't complete without something sweet, so you'll learn how to make sinfully delicious pecan pralines — enough to take home, too! Laissez les bons temps rouler!
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Linda was outstanding. It was my boyfriends birthday and she went above and beyond my expectations. She has extensive knowledge of the history of food, knife techniques and more! Her home is beautiful, clean, and her kitchen/utensils are top notch! Our family will be doing another class with her!

This was more than just cooking food. Linda spent considerable time sharing her vast knowledge and use of the different ingredients that went into our meal. She also gave us tips and showed us ways that will make us better cooks no matter what we might be cooking. A superb evening! Thanks Linda.
