In this Cajun cooking class, Chef Tené will teach you to prepare the New Orleans classic dish shrimp étoufée, along with a variety of regional sides: grits, fried okra salad, and black-eyed peas. For dessert you'll learn to make Chef Tené's delicious and rich Ambrosia Macaroons. Chef Tené will be happy to tell you a bit of background about each of the dishes, as well as the history of the West Adams district in which she lives and teaches.
