Cooking Class - Fried Chicken Dinner
In this Southern cooking class, you'll learn to make your own buttermilk fried chicken and delicious sides. Chef Tené will teach you the art of making perfectly juicy fried chicken, as well as greens (she combines collards and kale for health and flavor), whipped sweet potatoes, and spoonbread. And for dessert, a sweet blackberry cobbler. Chef Tené will be happy to tell you a bit of background about each of the dishes, as well as the history of the West Adams district in which she lives and teaches.
