Join Chef Jason for the opportunity to learn how to cook with fresh, locally caught seafood.
In this hands-on cooking class with Chef Jason, you will learn how to prepare two seafood dishes using incredibly fresh, high-quality ingredients, Asian-inspired flavor profiles, and easy-to-master culinary techniques.
Chef Jason will begin by teaching you how to prepare a black and white sesame crusted tuna loin seared ever so lightly. Then, you will learn how to make a batch of shrimp fried rice using sushi rice, fresh-off-the-boat shrimp and an array of vegetables. Lastly, you'll end on a sweet note with a refreshing sorbet with mixed berries for dessert.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Some good tips on preparing chicken breasts for Chicken Francais. Knife sharpening tips were useful. Enjoyed learning about some of the specialty products such as balsamic glaze and saffron.

Our second experience with Chef Jason and twice the fun! Not only did we have a wonderful meal, but conversation and fun were the perfect accompaniment. My son was home from college with a few of his friends and they were able to join in on the amazing food and fun. Nothing but gracious compliments and thank you’s from all of them as well. Can’t wait for the next meal with Chef Jason!

Wow! What a great cooking class experience! It was so awesome meeting Chef Jason and his wife, we felt more like friends invited over to dinner than students attending a class. We loved how methodical everything was prepared, including clean up and we left with an abundance of knowledge to utilize in preparing future meals. We hope to attend another class very soon...we love to eat freshly prepared meals and Chef Jason is just the guy to show us the way! Thanks again!

Brought my wife for our 10 year anniversary to try something new and out of the ordinary, especially during Covid. Home run! Chef is a delight to interact with and the food was amazing! He talked us not only through the steps but we also learned the reasons certain things were done. Already passionate about cooking, we've just hit another chapter in our culinary journey and now have a friend to help us along the way. Great night!!

A night with Chef Jason was without a doubt the coolest date night experience ever. I was able to surprise my girl friend and scored a ton of brownie points. The night was full of great conversations, tons of laughs and a lot of lessons about cooking as well. We plan to hire Jason to cook for our families next time they are in town and know he will leave us with many more memories in the future. Don’t think any more, just book him! You won’t regret it.

My girlfriend and I attended one of Chef Jason’s cooking classes on date night and this man was not only an amazing teacher and chef but also the kindest and most gracious host. He makes you feel so at home in his class. His classes are good for beginners or experts in the kitchen. He teaches you a lot about the food and technique while keeping it easy and approachable. You will definitely feel a lot more confident in your home kitchen after watching this man’s work. He keeps his kitchen spotless and only uses the finest ingredients. Chef Jason is very helpful and passionate about what he does. You will learn a lot and have great conversation along the way. He was so kind to us and even fed me some of his personal food that he had made for himself. Talk about a selfless and hospitable host. Would recommend to couples or anyone looking for amazing food, great conversation and a new friend. Thank you Chef Baby Jason for your kindness and going above and beyond to make sure we had an unforgettable date night! Cheers!

This was the first cooking class that we have ever attended. So, I am sharing our review based on that perspective.
We picked our meal based on the food that we eat a lot—hoping to find new ways to cook the same items with a new twist.
We were greeted with a friendly smile from Jason, and we shared a little of our cooking experience. He proceeded with the evening, cooking for us, so that was our first little surprise that it was not a real hands-on cooking class. However, it was a cooking demonstration.
We were served our appetizer, which just was a mozzarella basil tomato salad—Delicious, but no brainer about how to put that together.
Then we had a chicken dish, a Tapas style plate that was exceptionally light and airy. It was fun, and it was delicious. Then we were served one piece of steak. Which was shared with my spouse and me; it was a little on the raw side; however, it was delicious.
And when it came time for the desert that is where our concerns began. 2 Issues - 1st - we were served something else other than what was stated on the menu. 2nd - We were served something that I was highly allergic to and we informed the chef at the time of booking, 2 weeks in advance. And at the time he served us that food, we reminder him about my allergy and he admitted recalling he read something about that and made no effort to correct what is given to me or offer a substitute. It was not a priority to him to correct or apologize for.
We will give Cozymeal a second chance and work with a different Chef to see if we get what we pay for, such as an actual hands-on class; versus a demonstration. But my concern here with chef Jason is in this industry, it's 100% attention to detail and you dropped the ball majorly here.

Our time with Chef Jason was a great experience. We were greeted by Jason and his wife with a warm friendly greeting. The cooking experience was like a personal cooking lesson, as the Chef explained each step and the "why" for doing so. I learned numerous techniques that I plan on using in my own kitchen. This was a birthday gift for my daughter that we both enjoyed. We highly recommend Chef Jason.

My roommate and I did a cooking lesson by Chef Baby Jason here in our apartment. The experience was great and we both had a great time learning how to cook some of our favourite foods. The homemade pizza was my favourite dish we made. Chef did a great job at showing us how easy it is to cook the pizza and the incredible fish we made as well. I would recommend cooking lessons to anyone looking to learn new recipes in the kitchen and a great way to become a better cook. Thank you Chef for being so friendly and such a great cook.

Chef Baby Jason is a pleasure to work with. He taught my friends and I how to cook Salmon Puttanesca and Homemade Pesto Parmesean Pizza. We even made our own dough! I would highly recommend him. Detailed, soft spoken and let us do most of the work. We would love to have him back for future events.

I wanted to write you this note thanking you for the wonderful dining experience you gave me and my family. The Grouper Puttanesca was off the charts fantastic. Sauce was as good as I have ever had and the fish cooked perfectly. You not only came with you’re A cooking game, but you were a pleasure to have in our home. We had Chef Jason for my family birthday dinner and it was fabulous! We enjoyed our time together and I did not have to worry about preparing the food and out meal was absolutely fabulous! We will do it again with our friends! It is a great way to get together with friends and everyone split the bill - like going to a restaurant! And with COVID - very comfortable! Super! Super Concept!
Chef Jason is a personal chef, self-made saucier, entrepreneur, and culinary instructor extraordinaire. He can currently be found hosting cooking demonstrations on the local news, teaching cooking classes at an independent kitchenware store, and crafting his own culinary experiences with the goal of enhancing his guest’s knowledge and proficiency to transform their entire home cooking experience.
