In this hands-on cooking class with Chef Patrick, you'll learn how to make three authentic futomaki rolls utilizing classic culinary techniques and fresh ingredients.
Begin by preparing miso soup, then get to rolling. Chef Patrick will show you how to prepare colorful futomaki in varying difficulty levels. Start with a basic tempura shrimp roll followed by a specialty Mount Fuji roll with baked salmon and crab. For the third roll, master temaki: a hand roll filled with yellowtail, scallions and jalapeños. Finally, you'll make mochi — a sweet Japanese rice cake — for dessert.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
