In this four-course sushi-making cooking class with Chef Patrick, you'll learn how to make three different maki rolls from scratch as he guides you through creating an authentic Japanese menu utilizing classic culinary techniques and fresh ingredients.
Begin by learning how to properly make sticky sushi rice, then dive into rolling a California maki roll with surimi, avocado and cucumber. Continue perfecting your sushi-rolling skills with a salmon or tuna roll, and a futomaki roll with shrimp tempura or spicy surimi, cucumber, avocado and eel sauce. For dessert, make handmade tempura ice cream.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
