Learn how to prepare superfood-studded dishes with a knack for keeping us on an even keel.

In this hands-on class with Chef Shailini, you will learn how to prepare a five-course menu using a spread of superfoods that are known for their mood-boosting, serotonin-enhancing, and anxiety-soothing abilities.

Some of the superfood-rich recipes and dishes you'll learn in this class include homemade beet hummus with pita chips, a leafy green salad studded with superfoods aplenty, a chicken entrée that is both tender and flavorsome thanks to a honey-mustard marinade, a creamy Greek yogurt parfait with nuts and berries, and so much more!

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Shailini was born in Nepal, and with her father being a well-known diplomat, the family lived all over the world. A life long educator, Chef Shailini taught at both Boston University and Northeastern University earlier in her career, and while she enjoyed that a great deal, she is currently living her true passion at several well-known Boston institutions teaching people how to cook food that is both nutritious and delicious. Chef Shailini also does a great deal of volunteer work.

My daughter and I had a nice evening with Chef Shailini! She had a yummy variety of dishes and added a lot of interest, talking about cultural aspects and food history, as well as sharing anecdotal stories. If you like or are curious about Indian food, this class is for you!

Chef Shailini's Nepali cooking class was wonderful! i took the class with my wife and my sister and we all loved the class and the food! Shailini was gracious and friendly, providing not only recipes, but thorough explanations of how and when to do things, including the order in which to make the dishes (7 in this class!), when to add spices and other ingredients, etc. Everything was delicious, and Shailini was kind enough to accommodate a special dietary need for us. She encourages attendees to participate as much or as little in the cooking process as they feel comfortable with. In short, excellent experience and great value for the money! Learned a lot and enjoyed a wonderful meal at the end of class. Highly recommend this class!
