In this hands-on class with Chef Myisha, you will learn how to pickle and ferment four different items, then you'll prepare a four-course meal that showcases each one.
Chef Myisha will begin by talking briefly about fermentation and pickling. Then, you will learn the skills and techniques needed to ferment a traditional batch of kimchi, make quick cucumber pickles using the hot pour-over method, pickle peppers for hot sauce, and can a seasonal pickled fruit medley before sitting down and enjoying a delicious four-course meal together.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Wonderful experience from start to finish. Chef Myisha's home is warm and welcoming. She is an excellent instructor plus an amazing chef. Her marinara sauce with extra garlic blew my mind. We learned how to create linguini noodles from scratch then ate the freshly made noodles with her wonderful, healthy (contained collard greens) pasta sauce. She also made a Panzanella salad and a smoked cream cheese tiramisu. WOW.
We highly recommend this class or any other class she teaches. She is patient, kind and makes you feel like a real chef. She also does pop up around the city of which we can't wait to catch one to eat her marvelous food again.
Gratuity may be left with her in her home.

Chef Myisha was a great host and a fantastic teacher. We had a great time and learned a ton. She answered all of our crazy dumpling questions and helped us prepare an outstanding meal! I would absolutely take another class with her.

Chef Myisha combines culinary knowledge with a sparkling personality to create the perfect cooking class experience. She taught the basics while also updating dishes with a fun twist. She walked me through the steps effortlessly, with easy to understand instructions and helpful tips and tricks. It was important to me that I learn recipes that I could recreate later on and her class delivered. Can't wait to book another class or meal with Chef Myisha!

Chef Myisha made the focal point my Thanksgiving dinner a real success . Turkey is one of those things that more times than not, the breast turns out dry and tasteless. Not any more! Chef Myisha taught me how to prepare a turkey that's flavorful, tender and succulent, even the breast! Her instructions were clear, precise and easy to follow. I'll be sure to refer to her any time I want to learn how to make new dish or improve on old favorites.

Chef Mia was excellent, kind, creative and of course made dishes I didn't even knew they existed! My wife and son loved her work as well. Chef Mia is very humble too, it was after injured her that I googled who she is, that I discovered she's also a celebrity chef. In addition to creating incredible dishes, she was extremely professional, prompt and fun!

Her grocery game is pretty strong, too. She’s been on Food Network twice and won an episode of "Guy’s Grocery Games." Chef Myisha has worked as a sous chef, executive chef and chef de cuisine in Michigan, New York and Seattle, where she has also been featured on local TV.
