Join Chef Satavia to learn all about preparing impressive plant-based pastries from scratch.
In this three-course beginner's baking class with Chef Satavia, you will discover how simple it really is to make homemade pastries with a plant-based twist.
Using ingredients free of dairy, nuts and cholesterol, you will learn the proper techniques to make three pastries from start to finish, including filling, piping pastry bags, making fresh dough with yeast and brewing the perfect latte. Some of the recipes you can look forward to mastering include berry and sage scones, raspberry-filled doughnuts and fluffy cinnamon rolls.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

The class was supposed to be for me, and my 2 girls, 12 &15 years old. Chef Satavia was so accommodating when our plans changed and we ended up doing the class with my husband and 9 year old boy. It was as a fun night that we didn't even realize the time. Chef Satavia was very knowledgeable, made the kids really comfortable and learning fun. The baked goods were really good!!

Had a great time with Chef Satavia! She was warm funny and friendly and showed me how to make some wonderfully delicious donuts that were dense and cakey-- just the way I like them! Her Potato Au Gratin was perfectly cooked (not mushy) and tasted creamy and cheesy. It had a great texture with the crunchy, savory crust combined with soft, creamy insides. Yum! Her version of Tiramisu was a parfait! All the sweet, creamy deliciousness of a regular tiramisu with an added texture of the espresso-soaked cookies!

Chef Satavia is well versed in a variety of cuisines, but specializes in vegan and vegetarian fare with Latin flair. Most of all, she loves any opportunity to share her passion for the culinary arts by teaching fun and interactive cooking classes for both kids and adults alike.
