Embark on a culinary journey through Israel, Morocco and Turkey with Chef Alex.
Renowned for its creative pairings and eye-catching colors, Middle Eastern cuisine forms an essential part of any chef's repertoire. In this unique experience led by Chef Alex, you'll have the chance to explore iconic dishes from a variety of Mediterranean and North African countries, including Morocco, Israel and Turkey.
The class begins with creating a stunning salad of butternut squash, red onion and za'atar. Next, you'll prepare lofta b’siniyah, a flavorful dish featuring lamb and veal. For the entrée, look forward to mouthwatering chicken Bastilla, while dessert is classic baklava.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Alexander was fantastic!. He did a great job explaining his process in full detail throughout every dish, and his presentations were amazing. Everything he made tasted great, including one of the best pumpkin soups I think I have had in my life. There was no pressure, the chef was very laid back, and I had an awesome time. I feel lucky to have learned from one of the greats (as well as taste everything he cooked!). Thanks Chef Alexander, A+++!

We had a large group of 13 ladies and everyone was extremely pleased. Chef Alex was very flexible and accommodating. He was able to adapt the menu for our vegetarian friends which was much appreciated. Our meal was delicious. I highly recommend chef Alex! If I return to the Orlando area, I would definitely use chef Alex again.

We weren't sure what to expect since we had never done anything like this before but we had a great experience with Chef Alex! We loved watching and talking with Chef Alex while he walked us through step by step our menu. We got to chop and stir and taste!!...and then when we finally got to eat...the food was absolutely AMAZING!!! It would recommend this experience to anyone who likes to eat!!
After graduating from Johnson Wales University, Chef Alex carved a niche as a skilled and compassionate teacher, working in both corporate and hotel environments. He has also held the position of executive chef at several restaurants, including the Westgate Lakes Hotel. These days, Chef Alex makes use of his keen eye for fresh produce to source and deliver high-quality local ingredients to area chefs and families.
