Discover a native Minnesotan's delicious take on hidebound Southern comfort food in this culinary experience.

In this hands-on class with Chef Courtney, you will learn how to prepare a hearty and soul-soothing three-course Southern comfort menu using a handful of twists that riff playfully on familiar flavors.

Some of the recipes Chef Courtney will help you to master in this class include crispy-on-the-outside and juicy-on-the-inside fried chicken legs, an über creamy homestyle macaroni and cheese redolent of garlic, tender and silky collard greens with tomatoes and a kick, and a peaches and cream cornbread trifle for dessert.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Best date night we've had in a long time! We loved the location as it seemed more like home and was private just to our group. The recipes were easy to follow and recipes we'd use at home with our family. Chef Courtney was very thoughtful in all of the ingredients in that most households would utilize or have easy access to in any grocery store. Courtney was very personable, friendly, and made us feel very comfortable. She was also very knowledgeable and taught us new cooking techniques. We have taken other cooking classes in the twin cities and was very impressed by this experience! We recommend taking a class from Chef Courtney! You will not be disappointed! We are excited to book our night date night with her!
