Cooking Class - Foundational Sushi Skills

Unroll the foundational techniques and skills to create an impressive sushi spread with Chef Michael.

In this hands-on class with Chef Michael, you will learn the fundamentals of sushi making, from sourcing ingredients, to safe seafood handling, to knife skills, to proper rice preparation, to rolling techniques, and more!

Chef Michael will begin by teaching you how to craft a classic maki platter. Then, you will move onto a sashimi trio of tuna, salmon and hamachi, as well as a nigiri plate. Finally for dessert, Chef Michael will teach you how to prepare an impressive tempura cheesecake with pistachios and homemade red wine sauce.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
