Cooking Class - Healthy Greek Cuisine
Greek fare is healthy, delicious and makes use of fresh ingredients. In this hands-on class with Chef Shailini, you will learn how to prepare a four-course menu of classic Greek dishes that utilize only the freshest and most wholesome ingredients.
Chef Shailini will begin by teaching you how to prepare a batch of traditional flaky and crispy oven-baked spinach and feta hand pies called spanakopita. For your entrée, you will learn how to build layers upon layers of flavor to create a hearty eggplant casserole topped with a luscious béchamel sauce lauded as the epitome of Greek comfort food.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
