Cooking Class - Essential Knife Skills

Learn basic knife skills so you can be a confident knife-wielding pro in your kitchen.

In this hands-on class with Chef Terry, you will first learn the basic knife skills needed for any and all kinds of vegetable butchery. Then, you will put your new knife skills to the test.

After learning the proper way to hold and handle a chef's knife, and how to dice, batonnet, julienne, and brunoise like a pro, you will dive into preparing your meal. Chef Terry will guide you as you create a Brussels sprout and mushroom hash, a vegetable stir fry with rice noodles, and apple pie pockets for dessert.

Chef Terry has in-depth knowledge and experience with a wide variety of cuisines, including vegan meals. I enjoyed learning dishes that are healthy yet there is no compromise in flavor. They were so delicious. I can't wait to try out what I learned from Chef Terry at home!

We loved Terry's vegan brunch class. Everything was delicious and he does a great job of explaining all the steps whether you're a beginner or advanced home cook. He comes super prepared and is very thoughtful to leave your kitchen as clean as he found it (or cleaner!). Would definitely recommend!
