Catering - Elegant Seasonal Menu

Chef Janice, Thank you for the opportunity to taste test your food. We enjoyed the sandwiches and soup and the food was critiqued by "foodies" so it was interesting to hear what they had to say. Beef was excellent. Was there a fish base of some sort in the Greek Lemon soup. What were the little green edibles inside of the chicken salad sandwiches. We'd love to proceed with a catering order for next week Tues., April 4th which would include two (2) deliveries. One for a light breakfast at 7:30 am and then another delivery for a lunch which we'd like to have delivered around 11:45 am. Again if you could put something together for our review and tweaking that would be great. Please let me know if you have any questions. Sue Allen

We were looking for something our small team could do together and thought of doing a cooking class. Through CozyMeal, Janice put together delicious options for three different dishes (two main and one dessert), all of which sounded amazing! Our team voted and we were thrilled to show up and turn these into a delicious reality. Janice was warm and welcoming, and made us all feel at ease with the kitchen stations and steps we each had to follow. Janice was laid back and flexible which made the evening flow smoothly. We all thoroughly enjoyed the meal and were even given take home boxes filled with the leftovers!

Chef Janice was a great teacher, with a friendly personality and clearly tons of knowledge about every facet of the cooking process. My husband and I were her first students, and while there was a minor snafu regarding location (make sure to go to the commercial kitchen address, not Chef Janice's personal residence!!), all other aspects of the class went very smoothly. We have attended other types of cooking classes where all of the ingredients were already prepped and laid out, but Chef Janice let us take a hands on approach and prepare all of the vegetables ourselves. I feel that this is a great learning aspect, especially for people (like my husband :P) who are not super familiar yet with cooking and even more experienced people might pick up a few useful tricks! :) All of the dishes turned out SUPER DELICIOUS and Chef Janice made sure to show how we could modify / switch out ingredients to give them a different twist as well in the future. Also, we were able to take home a bunch of leftovers that are feeding us (and family and friends!) for the entire rest of the week. If you are a person who is looking for some inspiration in the vegetable department, then both my husband and I highly recommend this class. Even if you are a meat-lover like my husband, Chef Janice's dishes are highly flavorful and would be a great addition to add to your repertoire. If you are a vegetarian like myself, then you will be sure to pick up tons of great tips on how to incorporate more flavors and textures to try and possibly tempt husbands (and children) into trying more vegetables in their diet.

I had the most amazing experience with Janice! She made a great menu, our communication was easy and very efficient. And the food.. It was delicious!!! All of my guests asked for her contacts which I gladly provided. And I just have to say a word about the tri-tip. It was the tastiest meat I've ever eaten. I am very glad I've chosen Chef Janice to cater my party.

Amazing. Some Yelpers say it's pricey.. But, if you went out to dinner it would be at LEAST as much.. Chef Janice is great if you have special dietary concerns like Vegan, Gluten Free.. etc/. My meals were incredible. Best Falafel and side dish I've ever had. Love this service. Oh man, now I'm hungry again.

Had a party catered by Chef Janice for about 30 people and it was a huge success! The food was delicious, healthy and beautifully presented. All the guests complimented on the quality of the food and service. Very easy to work with and the price was reasonable for the superior quality. They came just a couple of hours before the party guests arrived and set everything up very efficiently. Left with everything cleaned up and our kitchen spotless, so we definitely will use them again for our parties. Highly recommended!

No lie, Janice and her fabulous crew are saving my life! Standard story: single, too busy/lazy to cook every day, blah blah blah but here is my twist -- I also have a very restrictive diet. Enter Janice. After we talked through my preferences and absolute avoids, she insisted it wouldn't be too much trouble to feed me. And I am SO grateful. Every meal is better than the last! Taste is fantastic (even without garlic and onions -- do you know how hard it is to cook without garlic and onions?!), portions are perfect, and I am completely full after every meal. I can't believe I didn't do this years ago, and am so glad to have found Janice. Can't recommend her enough; if I could give more than five stars, I would! Do yourself a favor and contact Janice. It's beyond worth every penny.

I have tried just about every catering service out there in the past 3 years. This is a tremendous value for one person, or a couple. The food is tasty, and most important - healthy and nutritionally balanced. The only thing I'd change is the ability to order for a full week so that the delivery charge would be weekly. As it is, I generally order only for Monday delivery.

Chef Janice has helped me out on numerous occasions! She catered a lovely bridal tea I hosted with delicious traditional tea treats that allowed me to relax and enjoy hosting! I've also ordered the delivered meals when life is busy and I needed a dinner or two ready! I recently tried Fitness Meals and they are terrific. It's the kind of healthy but delicious meal you plan to cook and get on a healthy eating plan but never find the time to make it all come together. The turkey was especially yummy! Perfect after work- filling, proportioned and easy! Perfect for New Years resolutions I bet.

Hi, I hired Janice for a private function, guest count approximately 25 people. I found Janice a dream to work with. She was quick to respond to any questions, had great menu suggestions and was flexible to any suggested changes. During the event Janice and her co chef were very professional, so easy to work with, they cleaned up during and after the event, but, the most important factor is the food was phenomenal and good quality. I'd work with Janice any day!!!

I primarily use this service for myself when I am traveling and want to come home and have good food without having to think about it. We are mostly eating out while we are gone so coming home to take out food is very unappealing. This food is nothing like restaurant food. It is just like if I cooked it myself. Fresh and healthful. I have never had anything dry out when reheating, in fact I am always surprised at how moist and tender the meats are. Anyone who can make turkey cutlets moist and tender after reheating must be a genius! The chicken salad is the best I have ever had! As far as price goes, when I buy take out it costs the same and I usually end up throwing out the leftovers. I never have to throw out Janice's leftovers as they taste just as good two days later. I have also used Janet's catering service for a bridal shower I threw. People are still commenting on how good the food was over a month later! I highly recommend this service.
