Special herbed rice with baked trout, herb frittata and homemade desserts!
Join me for a traditional Persian New Year dinner to celebrate the first day of spring. I will be serving a delicious four-course meal by my fireplace where each course will be a different Persian dish with my own modern touch and presentation of the food.
I will start with two courses of appetizers, which will include the Persian staple dish Kookoo Sabzi (Herb Frittata). This will be followed by the main course, baked trout with special herbed rice and Persian kimchi. The fourth course will be two desserts, including a home-made Persian ice cream and Faloodeh. I will wrap up the meal with tea, coffee and a mocktail.

Marjan's food is very elegant. The herb-stuffed fish was noticeably fresh and healthy, and her rice dish the most unique. All with delightfully subtle and pronounced flavors everywhere. The homemade saffron ice cream with pistachio was A-MAZING. I left feeling something like that of a born-again Persian. I now love everything Persian. What a fun night!
