We chose the Italian Feast, and it was an unforgettable experience! The two chefs were not only incredibly talented but also warm and caring, which made the entire event feel special. It wasn’t just about amazing food—it was so much fun! My whole team loved every moment. The setting was beautiful, the dishes were absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone—and honestly, I’d do it again in a heartbeat!

I would definitely recommend this class to friends and family. It was so much fun for our TEAM to be together doing what everyone enjoys, food and cooking. We made Mushroom soup, Pasta and for dessert we had tiramisu. The chefs were awesome very friendly, helpful and engaged with our team.

My team and I made a wonderful 3 course Italian dinner of Cream of Mushroom Soup for the starter, Fettucine and fresh cherry tomato sauce for the main and Tiramisu for dessert. Chefs Vivian and Michi were kind and patient teachers that made our team building experience a spectacular success. I would highly recommend anyone to spend an evening with these amazing chefs.

We did the Noodling around the Pasta with chef Vivian and Michi, it was a fantastic experience. We were most interested in learning the techiques of making pasta from scratch , bruschetta and tiramisu, as we have always used the store bought pasta.We found the class fun and very informative.Thanks for great tips throughout the class. We signed up for the “The Bear” cooking class for a date night, we’re big fans of the show and figured, why not cook like it? Chef Vivian and Chef Michi were great, super easy to talk to, really down to earth, and made the whole thing feel comfortable. We had some really good conversations with them about their cooking backgrounds, what food means to them, and even got some cool travel tips for their home countries, Peru and Japan. The whole night just felt really warm and inviting just like hanging out with friends who just happen to be amazing chefs.
The class was a four course meal, and honestly everything we made was great, but the two that really stood out were Sydney’s omelette with the potato chips on top and the risotto. That omelette was such a clever idea, and we’ve already said we’re making it again at home. It was quite easy and I may be investing in a new kitchen gadget for the house, a Japanese tamago pan! And the risotto’s something I’ve always avoided because it seemed like such a hassle, but the way they taught it made it feel totally doable, I’m actually excited to try it again. It was far less daunting than I thought. The after dinner, we got to play with Agar Agar to make some cool dessert pearls to top our ice cream with, we felt like a mix of a scientist and chef.
What I appreciated most was how approachable it all was. The food looked and tasted like something from a nice restaurant, but nothing about it felt overcomplicated or intimidating. Nothing was too greasy or overly processed, just nice clean ingredients that made for tasty dishes. I’ve done other classes before where it’s rushed and overly fancy and you walk out thinking, “Well… not doing that again.” This was completely different, they showed us how to make impressive dishes that actually feel possible to recreate at home. And the little tips and tricks they shared really stuck with me, especially the tip about scoring mushrooms (we felt like pros) and not washing the flavor off before cooking.
You get to cook and eat a full four-course meal, learn from two super talented chefs, and walk away with a fun memory you’ll actually want to tell people about.
If you’re looking for a fun, cozy date night or just want to pick up some new cooking skills without feeling overwhelmed, I definitely recommend booking with Chef Vivian and Michi. It was relaxed, memorable, and just a really good time. We’ll definitely be back for another class.

Chef Vivian and Michi were incredible. They were able to accommodate the dietary restrictions we had and taught us how to prepare the best meal I've had in ages, (better that the exclusive restaurant the night before). I highly recommend the Peruvian experience.

Vivian and Michi were amazing! We had a great experience tonight making ramen from scratch. They were both professional in knowledge and very welcoming and friendly. They showed us in clear easy instructions how to make each items and the steps involved. They had answered all our questions and gave advice on how to change the dishes when making at home for new taste. I feel confident with their recipe and instructions, I can now take this home and share with friends.

We had an amazing time in our Italian cooking class with Vivian and Michi! Vivian was so accommodating and went above and beyond to make the experience fun and engaging. We learned great tips, made pasta from scratch, and felt confident enough to try it at home. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and everyone had a blast. I would definitely do it again and highly recommend it!

If I could give them more than 5 stars, I definitely would! Chef Vivi and Michi are some of the most kindest and patient people I’ve ever met. I originally booked the kids sushi class as a gift for my daughter’s birthday and my husband also booked the ramen class for our anniversary. The ramen class was first and it was such a great experience. It was much easier than expected and everything was simply delicious. I definitely feel like I could go home and make my own ramen one day

My Fiancé organized a personal chef lunch for my birthday. We were welcomed to home and had Asian food. The chefs were friendly and easy to follow. We enjoyed the meal plus had prepped leftovers. I highly recommend to others as they also do groups! We will be back! Thanks so much for the experience!

If I could give more than five stars, I absolutely would. My husband and I took the Dinner with The Bear cooking class with Chefs Vivian and Michi this past Saturday, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish.
Both chefs were truly lovely — warm, welcoming, and so kind to open their home to host the class. The atmosphere immediately felt comfortable and inviting. The class was full (about 15 people total), split into two tables, and the energy was fantastic. Everyone got along so well, we made new friends, and the conversation flowed just as easily as the wine (which we brought ourselves) and the cooking.
Chefs Vivian and Michi were incredibly patient, helpful, and clear with their instructions, all while keeping things fun and engaging. The dishes were inspired by iconic meals from The Bear, and every single one felt approachable and doable at home — which made the experience even better. Having the recipes to take home was such a bonus.
We learned a lot, laughed a lot, and walked away feeling confident and inspired. I truly can’t recommend this class enough, and I have no doubt that any class these two chefs host would be just as amazing. We’re already looking forward to signing up for another one.

We attended “Cooking with the Bear” class w Chef Michi & Chef Vivian. It was a delightful experience, we learned to cook 5 items (omelet, mushroom appetizer, risotto, chicken piccata, sundae) from the show. The chefs had everything prepped and we were able to meet some lovely people from the area. My favorite tip was to try cooking with sake instead of wine. This was a great date night, but also would be fun and appropriate for families or friends. The chefs were welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. I definitely recommend this experience.

So this was a Christmas gift from my boyfriend to me and my girls. There were a total of four of us. The experience was absolutely a blast. We learned how to make pasta. I learned it was black garlic, which I never knew also learned that sake can be used in Italian food who would’ve thought I was also happy to have my grandson with us who really enjoyed the food and he’s only four overall it was a great experience and we would do it again very soon this time taking my boyfriend and his boys so get ready chefs. It’s a party of nine. See you soon.

We participated in the fabulous vegan fare! The chefs definitely did more than what was on the menu! They were so sweet and kind and taught us many things. They helped us learn to cook, then plated the food and served us. They cleaned the kitchen and did the dishes! They even left us some leftovers ingredients and the recipes to make it again in the future!

We had an awesome time learning to cook the Iconic Asian Creations! We had 14 family members from age 17-65 and everyone had a chance to get involved and learn something new. Vivian and Michi were SO friendly and patient. The time went by so fast and the food was absolutely delicious. Great for young or old, beginner or more experienced home cook. Thank you so much!

I got this class as a gift for my cousin’s birthday, and I could not have asked for a better gift. We learned how to make miso and a couple ways to make sushi. The chefs were amazing as teachers and had many tips on the tools for sushi. I can’t wait to try it on my own and use what I learned here. I would recommend that anyone wanting to make sushi but may need some help to reach out to Vivian and Michi as they are great chefs and great people.

This was a wonderful experience for team building. We planned this class for a retirement celebration for our boss, and it was the perfect event. Chef Vivian and Michi were responsive beforehand - asking about any dietary restrictions, special ingredients, and ways to make this evening special. It was a cost-effective, yet fun and engaging night. We all cooked in groups to handle the salad, main course and dessert. They provided enough instruction to ensure the meal was prepared well and it tasted delicious! However, there was still time in between cooking to mingle and enjoy each other's company. The space was great - plenty of room, clean, etc. We never felt rushed either. 10/10 would recommend this experience for a family outing, work event, or night with friends!

Nancy and I had a truly 5-Star experience with Chefs Vivian O’Phelan and Michi Hirano. This truly hands on, up close and personal learning experience exceeded our expectations. Our host, The Chefs, were organized, knowledgeable, teachers, personal, professional, good communicators and dining hosts. Add Chefs Vivian and Michi’s Traditional French Fare cooking class to your bucket list! My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful afternoon with these two professionals making French onion soup, beef Bourguignon, and fruit tarts. Vivian and Michi are amiable, creative, efficient, and shared their knowledge, tips, and expertise throughout the class. The taste, aroma, and presentation of each dish were on par with a gourmet restaurant. The chefs and this cooking class are highly recommended.

This event was a multiple birthday celebration in our dinner group of seven. We wanted something different and interactive for the evening. We selected the Spanish Delights menu.
From the time my reservation was confirmed by the Chefs, they were answering my questions of what to expect. It was a fun experience planning with them.
The cooking class dinner met every expectation and much more. The Chefs Vivian and Michi are a delight themselves and we had a wonderful experience.
The food was outstanding and delicious! We highly recommend Chefs Vivian and Michi for any of their cooking class offerings or especially for a Private Chef dinner events.

One of the most amazing experiences I’ve ever had. I have very little cooking experience and they helped me make some of the best sushi I have ever eaten. Also, Chefs Vivian and Michi are the kindest people, and are great to talk to while cooking. Wonderful experience and would recommend to anyone!

We had the most wonderful anniversary night with Chef Vivian and Chef Michi. They welcomes us into their home and were so patient teaching us new techniques. They were attentive, personable, and have an obvious passion, not only for cooking, but sharing the love of cooking with others. We would 100% book another class with these two - we definitely got out of our comfort zone for this experience, but Chef Vivian and Chef Michi made it easy to do so!

2/25/25 My wife and I decided to take the ramen making class for our anniversary. I can’t express how thankful we are for discovering this fun and informative class . First I want to say chef Michi and Vivian are amazing hosts and chefs. The instructions were very clear and helpful. Very hands on and fun to participate in making the ramen noodles , the pork tenderloin and the onigiri. We finished up with a very delicious and refreshing shaved ice. The atmosphere was pleasant all around . They have made me more confident in trying things out for the first time . 5 stars isn’t enough to rate this overall experience. I highly recommend if you are looking for a fun, exciting, and challenging activity making ramen from scratch. Thank you chef Michi and chef Vivian!

What a fabulous experience! My love and I took this class for Valentine’s Day. We really enjoyed it, the food was delicious and the music felt like we were indeed in Italy! Both Vivi and Michi are wonderful chefs, very experienced, friendly and they made us feel comfortable from the very first moment that we met them. Their home is very clean and welcoming. **A Truly Exceptional Cooking Experience - 10/10!**
I had the pleasure of attending this cooking class, and I can confidently say it was nothing short of amazing! From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect.
First, the instructors were incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about their craft. They not only guided us step-by-step through each recipe but also shared valuable tips and tricks that I can apply in my own kitchen. The hands-on approach made the experience engaging, and I truly felt like I was learning something worthwhile.
The atmosphere was welcoming and fun — a great balance between educational and social. Chef Vivi and Michi opened up there home to us and at first we were skeptical about going into a private home for the cooking class but every was spotless and well-equipped, the ingredients were fresh and high-quality. We arrived 15mins late due to traffic but the chefs were so understanding and we still had plenty of time for us to ask questions and get individual attention, which really made the experience feel personalized.
The best part? The food we made was *delicious*! We walked away with not just new skills, but a new level of confidence in the kitchen. We also left with the recipes and I’m excited to try again at home.
Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned home cook, this class is worth every penny. I can’t recommend it highly enough. Looking forward to signing up for the next one!

The class was amazing with chef Vivian and chef Michi. They were so inviting and comforting. The experience was educational and so much fun. Teaching the importance of each step. Breaking down why things are done the way they are. Their experience is shown in their patience, attention to detail, and food presentation! Food tasted so good, it was hard to believe we made it from scratch. Outside of the menu provided, they taught us different ways to make everyday food in our household that we are excited to make. Totally recommend this experience, we will be trying their other classes!

We HIGHLY recommend taking a class with Vivian and Michi if you are considering it! We went as a birthday gift, and my partner loved the experience. Chef Vivian and Michi did a wonderful job making the experience very fun -- asking us questions, sharing stories of their experiences as chefs, and making recommendations for cooking other meals. The food was great, we brought wine to sip as we cooked, and we would definitely go back as a date night or family activity. 10/10 experience!

The Lomo Saltado cooking class with Chef Vivian and Chef Michi was absolutely great. They were so patient and clear in their instructions and made sure to check on us all throughout the lesson. They told short stories in between and allowed us time to mingle and chat throughout the class. This ended up being a great way for our organization to enjoy some virtual team bonding and celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. Thank you Michi and Vivian!

I enjoyed the class and learned several new techniques. The chefs were pleasant and answered all my questions. If you're not aware, many of the classes through cozymeal are at the chefs home. When I first realized that I thought it would be awkward. However, it was ok and had no problems. I will definitely take additional classes.

Chef Vivian and Michi were wonderful! They invited us into their home to teach my friend and I a full 5 course meal that was absolutely delicious. All the steps were easy to follow and things I could take home and continue to do myself. They even took a mushroom “hater” and turned me into a mushroom lover!! They were chatty and answered any questions we had, and were truly engaging. We had the best time!! And came home with leftovers!!

Chef Vivian and Michi were amazing! Welcoming and wonderful. They were accommodating to all dietary needs and ages. I brought my 15yr old niece and she is a vegetarian and they ensured we could both get what we wanted out of the experience. The food was delicious. I miss the ramen from the Pacific Northwest and this was the best ramen I have had since moving to Tampa. I would highly recommend.

We had so much fun with Chefs Vivian and Michi! We were celebrating my dad's 65th birthday so it was definitely a special occasion! He was a little reluctant to get involved (seeing as he does the cooking in the house everyday already!) but seeing how engaging the chefs were really got him excited to get his hands in there! Chef Michi even sharpened my dad's knives which was such an unexpected added bonus. The food was just as good as the memories we shared. My dad is also looking to hire them for two other organizations he works with. Just an all around amazing time, can't wait to work with them again!!

I booked this cooking class as a surprise for my husband’s birthday and we had a blast. Michi and Vivi were so welcoming and helpful with providing tips. There was never a dull moment. This was an amazing experience. The chefs were incredibly friendly, welcoming and very well organized. It was immediately apparent they love what they do and you could see they enjoyed watching the spark of learning in their "students" ignite. I would definitely recommend taking a lesson with them if you have the opportunity.

Chef Vivian and Michi created the most wonderful experience. It was our first ever cooking class and it was also my boyfriends birthday. We were visiting from out of state and I wanted to do something special for the occasion and found the cooking class. The chefs were so warm and welcoming and incredible teachers and hosts. Being in their home was beautiful instead of a cold kitchen in some restaurant under fluorescent lights. They went above and beyond to make sure our experience was magical. We crafted a delicious ramen together, and I was particularly impressed by the flavorful broth, tender pork, and perfectly cooked noodles. The dessert added a delightful twist to the experience. The class we took was focused on making ramen from scratch. It was such an amazing experience! The instructors were super welcoming and made the class feel like a gathering of friends. We learned all about the culture of ramen while getting hands-on with the ingredients and making our own noodles. The meal we prepared together was absolutely delicious, and the conversation was just as exciting. I can't recommend these chefs enough, a solid 10/10 & we will be back! ?

This was a perfect evening. I surprised my hubby, Dave, with this class on his birthday. We highly recommend Chef Vivian and Chef Michi’s sushi-making class! It provided my husband, granddaughter and me a fabulous evening! From the making of the miso soup starter to the lessons on a variety of sushi roll styles, we learned a lot and the food was delicious. They bring everything needed for the class including only the freshest, most authentic ingredients. Both have a very warm and engaging style that immediately made us feel like we had known them forever. We will definitely take another class from them in the future!

We enjoyed having Chef Vivian and Chef Michi teach my 7th grade daughter and her friends how to make ramen at our home. The girls had a a fun time, making something we all go to enjoy afterwards. Our evening was FANTASTIC! Chefs Vivian and Michi are amazing and taught us so much - and we had a lot of fun.
We can't wait to do another class with these chefs as they have a wide-range of cooking abilities and experience. From Japanese (like we had) to French to Italian and Argentinian! They were wonderful about catering to our inividual dietary practices (I'm a strict vegetarian), and just simply gave us a great experience overall.
When I purhcased this class as a birthday gift for my "the-woman-who-has-everything" best friend, I had no idea what to expect. I can now say that what I expected didn't come near the adventure we actually had. Chefs Vivian and Michi went far and above the expected.
Both my friend and I have future plans for these chefs and can't wait to get both family and friends involved next time!

We thoroughly enjoyed our Festival of Japanese Street Fare class with Chefs Michi and Vivian yesterday! They were both so friendly and informative and we did learn some fantastic tips. I never did get the opportunity to photograph our end result because the rest of the family dove on it and it was GONE! haha Absolutely delicious. Both chefs were so helpful and carefully answered all questions. We will definitely be taking additional classes and most certainly looking for additional classes with Chefs Michi and Vivian, including in person classes once you are in Tampa! If 10 is your highest score we would give Chefs Vivian & Michi a 15. The two were very personable and clearly fluent in their craft. Vivian makes me want to explore not just Peruvian cuisine, but their culture too. My husband and I are both experienced home cooks and we did learned a several new things about ingredients and technique. The appetizer, the main course and the dessert were amazing. We all agreed we will do this again and though they did provide a “cozy” yet adequate workspace, we would like them to come use our much bigger kitchen.

Food was great! The pace of the meeting was very challenging to manage. The prep work was meant to be done in advance but we had said lots of us didn't do the prep work. Would have like to see a way to slow us all down to get on the same schedule.

Chef Michi & Vivian were amazing! I cannot put into words how glad I am that I decided to book my private event with them. They were extremely easy to coordinate with and were always available for any question that I had and would get back to me quickly. They were able to accommodate allergies and there was enough food to fill you up. Once they arrived, they took care of everything and the kitchen was left clean like no one had touched it. They were both so sweet and all of my guests loved their vibe and attention to detail. I cannot wait to book them again for a future event. If you haven’t booked chef Michi & Vivian, you are missing out!

Loved the preparation recommendations sent a few days before and loved the check ins during the activity. it seemed a little unorganized as i guess it can get a little messy with a large group. However, on several occasions our people asked pertinent/necessary questions that should have been stated prior to what the particular task was at the time. For example, one of them was.... do we need to preheat the oven? But Chefs were accommodating and informative

We had the most incredible experience in this 2.5/3 hour long class with Chef Vivian and Michi, both of whom are extremely engaging. We had great conversations and learnt a great deal about Sushi! Chef Michi is an artist with his knife! I Would highly recommend this experience. They made my daughters birthday a day to remember! Thank you Chef Vivian and Michi!

Chef Michi and Chef Vivian were absolutely wonderful!!! We took this class as a family: 2 adults, a 12-year old, and a 13-year old, and it was perfect! The chefs had everything ready for our class when we got there ... they explained what we needed to do and then we did it! We loved that it was hands on and that they were there to guide and answer all our questions. The food was DELICIOUS! We enjoyed the class and the meal immensely!

Class was so fun and definitely taught me a new dish. My husband loved the noodle dish. Only thing I would say is I struggled to keep up a bit. The class moved pretty quickly and once I turned on the vent hood to keep the smoke away it became a bit harder to hear the class. (Maybe one suggestion is to tell the participants to cut the veggies and prep equipment before the actual class.) But overall it was really great. I enjoyed it thoroughly!

Vivian and Michi were wonderful! They came to our apartment to do the Mediterranean and Spanish Fusion meal and the entire experience from start to finish was excellent. They are extremely personable, professional, kind, considerate of our home/kitchen space (wore masks), and you can tell that they truly love and enjoy what they are doing. They were accommodating of last-minute changes we wanted to make to the meal and very much let us take the lead in how much we wanted to help hands-on. Not to mention they cleaned up the entire kitchen while we ate the meal. We would (and already have) recommended them to our family and would absolutely book an experience with them again!

If you are looking for a "treat yourself" kind of experience or a fresh date night idea, I highly recommend booking Private Chef Vivian and Michi. Chef Vivian and Michi's place was setup perfectly for a small cooking class. They have a great energy and know Italian food :) We laughed and learned as we made pasta from scratch, delectable carpaccio & and sauces. I learned how easy it was to make delicious sauces in no time. We had a great time and left full and with leftovers to enjoy the next day. I would definitely do another class with Chef Vivian and Michi.

i loved the class very much. they were terrific and i learned so much that i will take with me and keep using. the only recommendation is the shopping list. it called for 7 cups of rice which was over triple what was needed and the fish amounts were a bit vague and therefore triple was purchased. the fish will ber used but it was too much for the recipes. overall it was a fantastic experience

Great class, and definitely a tasty end result. It was nice being in a small class so no one got left behind and we were able to interact a lot with the chefs, as well as learn about their backgrounds. I had messaged the chefs prior to the class to see if they had any vegetarian option recommendations and didn't receive a response, which was fine in the end, but a little frustrating.

I've made sushi before but I learned some valuable tips in this class! Both Vivian and Michi are knowledgable and personable. This was our first time using Cozymeal and what an exceptional experience it was. Chef Vivian and Michi were over the top amazing. They were very nice and helpful with everything. They taught us how to make great sushi rolls! Their instructions and fresh ingredients made it easy and simple to learn and follow along. The atmosphere was inviting, their home was very humble and quaint. The backyard offered an exquisite ambiance which was perfect for enjoying our incredible sushi menu. The whole experience was 5 star plus, thanks to 2 incredible and talented chefs. We are so glad we had this experience and look forward to doing it again! Highly recommended! A must-do for anyone!!!

You could tell during the class that the chefs really cared that all the participants were successful, and I certainly was. I am happy to have learned a new skill and look forward to making sushi again in the future. My only complaint is that the quantities of ingredients that we needed were not very clear. This may just be due to the formatting of the website, but I calculated that I needed 3 avocados by going through the recipes one by one, and then we only used 1 avocado in class. I would have appreciated a succinct PDF with a shopping list for the entire class, rather than different lists for each recipe.

This was our 3rd Cozymeal online cooking class experience and by far our favorite! Chef Vivian and Michi were personable, super friendly, and gave very clear directions. They demonstrated everything beautifully, the class flowed very well and at the end we were surprised and delighted that we had made 3 different sushi rolls and a salad in such a short amount of time. I felt like a professional!
Small tech issue- there after a brief hiccup at the beginning where participants weren't muted so we could only see whoever was speaking and not the directions she was providing, and it was a little challenging to hear them at times.
Looking forward to taking more classes with Chef Vivian and Michi! Thank you!

My son and I had a fabulous experience with Chef Vivian and Chef Michi. We made sushi rolls, soup and a sweet potato dessert. They were very knowledgeable and very nice. A+++++ for having so much patience with my 11 year old. We enjoyed our cooking class and highly recommend!

They did a great job! We did this as something different for a date night. And we are so glad we did. Our meal turned out delightful. Unfortunately, we had internet issues and the class ended a little early for us. But the chefs were so kind and slowed down for us when we hadn't prepped a few things, but kept the rest of the class moving. Our entire meal tasted great and we had a lot of fun while doing it!

This class was so much fun! I booked a private class for myself and my family, and it was a great experience to hang out with them (virtually) and learn how to cook a new dish. Chef Vivian and Chef Michi were true professionals and they made the whole cooking process super simple for us to follow. They were engaging and interactive with everyone, and their input made our appetizers turn out so delicious! Would recommend this class & these chefs to anyone thinking about the on-line class. 5/5 stars easily!

Excellent online experience for a team of 30 people! We have been looking for engaging and fun ways to connect online and we hit a home run with this experience. Making Sushi is very challenging but Chefs Vivian and Michi are great at both providing all the prep instructions prior to the class and walking the team through each step to achieve success! I was also impressed with how Vivian checked in on each person while making or assembling the roles to ensure everyone was able to complete the task. She used every person's name and kept everyone engaged. I would highly recommend this experience for groups of any size. Personally I was delighted to be able to complete 8 Sushi Rolls (Rainbow Rolls, Spicy Tuna Rolls, California Rolls and Vegetable Hand Rolls). I am not a cook so I had my doubts but Chefs Vivian and Michi made it possible.

We had an amazing time with Chefs Michi & Vivian! They were excellent from start to finish, walking us through each step of sushi making and the secrets to perfect tempura! They also catered the menu to our dietary needs & restrictions with such care & detail. In addition, they went above & beyond to make sure we were fully prepared for the class. My online cooking experience with Chefs Vivian and Michi was outstanding ! Right from the start, the chefs reached out to me with a nice message and all the prep that needed to be done prior to the class. Their energy and passion for what they do shone through the entire class! I enjoyed all of the tips and tricks they mentioned that I will definitely use in the future and how they were willing to give any recipes that were wanted! I also loved how the chefs went at a pace where everyone could follow along easily as well as checking in on everyone frequently. Overall the margarita and tacos were divine and scrumptious. Thank you chefs for a great time!! I highly recommend this experience and will be booking with them again soon!

Chefs Vivian and Michi were so warm, friendly and talented! The recipes were easy to follow (and delicious!) and they tailored the class to fit the needs of their audience by adjusting the speed or providing additional explanations/guidance as needed. This was a fun experience for our family and the virtual option meant that we were able to take a class with these wonderful chefs despite the fact they are in Florida and we are in Minnesota. We truly enjoyed our virtual cooking and mixology experience with Chefs Vivian & Michi! They were so helpful and flexible in the planning ahead of our event. On the day of our event, they were early and welcomed everyone joining the virtual event by name! They were friendly, professional, and had a great presence in this virtual setting. They checked in with our staff as we went along to make sure everyone was making the food/beverage together and addressed any questions along the way. They had great personality and helped build community among us through this event! We made delicious Mai Tais and also a mocktail version. We learned how to make stir fried Asian vegetables and learned how to make gyoza dumplings along with a yummy sauce! Much appreciation to Chefs Vivian & Michi! We would definitely recommend this virtual experience and hope to work together with them again in the future!

It was so much fun and Vivian was a great teacher! The only thing negative is the last dish we prepared, poor Vivian was t expecting it because cozy meal should have taken it off of her menu and didn’t! She went ahead and made it with us because we all had the ingredients, but we felt bad for her because she felt unprepared. She was great and handled it very professionally.

I thought the actual class was fabulous and fun!! I would have liked clearer instructions for what to buy- some ingredients were not on the list/ and clearer instructions on what to be done before class started. Also information telling us to cut the wrappers into circles in an earlier email not just right before class started. The recipes are delicious and the chefs were fun! The class was very good. The instruction was as personalized as possible and Chef Vivian and Michi were extremely responsive and helpful. My only recommendation would be for the ingredient list to be provided as one comprehensive list for the course, as opposed to the ingredients-by-course; this made it a bit more work to make a shopping list.

Wow! The best edamame and pot stickers I’ve ever had! And I made them myself thanks to this class. And it was fun to start off making a yummy drink. For sure will be taking more classes from Vivian and Michi - fun and great instruction!

Went for our anniversary and loved this class!! Chef Vivian and Chef Michi are a lovely couple with a lot of experience and everything they taught us to make was delicious! They had everything prepped and ready to go which streamlined the whole class and the recipes were easy to follow. Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking about doing this class. Thank you Chefs!

Chef Vivian and Michi are absolutely wonderful!!!! Since we were quarantined, I purchased this class as a surprise birthday gift for my Sushi roll loving 12 year-old daughter. They both provided thorough instructions to follow along with and were very patient with her through the whole cooking/creating process. She is so excited to finally make her own Sushi rolls (my pocket$ are excited too ?). Thank Chef Vivian and Michi for making this such a great experience for her! It was the cherry on top for her birthday!!

Chefs Vivian and Michi are experts in their fields! We had so much fun with them for a sushi-night over Zoom with friends, and we learned a TON. These two make a great team, are friendly, fun, and skilled. HIGHLY recommend for a creative evening of good times with friends.

A very fun and informational class. The chefs were easy to understand, patient, very knowledgeable, and had a good sense of humor. I liked the tidbits of information about different traditional Japanese techniques too. Would definitely take a class from them again!

My experience was good once I was able to log into the Zoom Meeting. There were some technical issues for me. However the content of the class was very good. The one thing that would really improve the delivery is a camera angle from above as well as in front of the chefs. It was difficult to see what was happening as well as keep up because by the time I could see what was expected they were moving on to the next step.
Overall though I really enjoyed the class and learned quite a lot. Never made Sushi or Handrolls before.
Thanks a lot for delivering great information and an enjoyable evening even if it was a virtual experience.

Great job! The food was great and the recipes easy to follow. The only thing I would change would be to find a way to make your screen visible at all times, or mute all attendees. Unfortunately, any time other attendees would talk, the screen would go to them in "speaker view" and we could not see what you were doing, so it was tough to make sure we were doing things correctly. And perhaps adding more to the prep list, like peeling the cucumber, peeling the carrots, and cooking the mushrooms beforehand. But this was really a fun experience, and I will recommend it to others!

We really enjoyed learning to make sushi with Chef Vivian and Michi! There were some technical difficulties but the chefs got us back in the mood for cooking with sake bombs. We will be making sushi again at home using the skills we learned.

Chef Vivian and Michi were incredible teachers! We had a blast learning how to make sushi. They were both so kind and patient and had an positive fun attitude that was contagious. It seemed like everyone had a really fun time. It was a great way to do something fun and mix things up.

I gifted this experience to a family member and they loved the actual online experience but the details to prep for it were very confusing. I think if the details were clearer, I’d give it 5 stars. Also, some of the recipe items are difficult to find so if it were possible to provide kits with all the recipe items, that’s something I would definitely pay for. It would make the customer’s experience so much easier. Just an idea! Thank you to Chef Vivian and Michi!

It was a very basic class. We had a box full of tools to use and did not use hardly any of them.

Things were too rushed and felt frenetic! We didn't get the details of the recipes, e.g. did not know to add soy sauce and sugar to the mushrooms. I ended up throwing those away and they cost us $5.00. With smoke alarms going off, fans going, rushing to open windows and the dog

The class was fast paced and it felt like a lot of the stuff was expected to be done ahead of time. In other Cozymeal classes we have enjoyed learning tips from the chefs as we cooked along with them. Also, we were disappointed that the Margaritas were made with a mix.
