I enrolled myself, my mom and my daughter into the French Baking 101 class. The class was great, chef/instructor was very knowledgeable and finished dishes were delicious! I do have a suggestion of information that should be shared with guests before they sign up. I was under the impression each person taking the class would be making their own dish/dessert and doing all of the steps/cooking activities, instead we were placed into a group of 4 (one person we did not even know before the class) and then we had to divvy up any physical activities among the group. With 4 people I don't think we all had very much opportunity to be as hands on as I would have liked. And we you are paired up with people outside of your party it can be a little awkward etc. So my suggestion would be to make it explicit that you make 3 shared desserts and are working in a team of 4 people. If you don't have 4 in your party then you will be put into a team with other class individuals. Now maybe this info is somewhere in the small print but I did not see it readily. Thank you.

I would recommend the baking class. Bread making was clarified, even some of the finer piint I had struggled with in the past. Teacher was great and the others in the class were Incredibly attentive. I will be takin another class! Only issue was I booked a 10am class. When contacted prior to accepting my reservation I was told the class was moved to 9. No big deal. However all other communication (including the "your class starts in 15 mins" had 10 listed as the start time. On the off chance, I arrived at 9. Many others had the same communication saying it started at 10 and missed most of the class.

I was surprised at how easy it was to make gnocchi. I would've expected that to be really hard. It turned out so good! I also enjoyed learning about a couple of kitchen gadgets that I've never used before. I would definitely do this again. So fun!

The session was amazing. I was a bit overwhelmed with the amount of ingredients i wasn’t aware of. The chef was amazing, patient, and explained the instructions very well across all groups. I came to celebrate my birthday along with my beautiful girlfriend and this DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Thank you.

We went for a girls night out and a birthday. We had a lot of fun. Food was great. Highly recommend. Will go back for date night with my husband. You can bring your own wine or beer too. We enjoyed a bottle of wine

Would have preferred getting a printed set of instructions for croissant recipes morning of class. Have not received the email with recipes yet. Suggest making class long enough to allow for proper rising times so we know what finished product should look and taste like. Otherwise a nice experience.

My wife and I had a lot of fun this evening. Our chef was very knowledgeable, although it was his first time. Therefore, the organization/order of operations could have been a bit more smooth. Overall, we had a blast and the food was great. Would definitely take another class again in the future.

1) We have a habit of taking cooking classes when we go on vaca. We have taken several classes in Chicago, Ashville, NC, etc. So we have lots of experience 2) As a Senior, standing the entire time was hard for me, my back was starting to tighten up. My suggestion is that when a person singns up, there should be an option of aksing for a stool. 3) ALL, and I mean ALL, of the previous classes at all venues, gave out a written recicpe for each dish, foe each couple. Not having the paper in front of us there was a lot of confusion that didn't need to happen. The Chef did a great job, but she was having to repeat herself way too many times, and becasue it was a fairly large class, there was a lot of side talking (to be expected) but it got to be so loud that we simply couldn't hear the Chef. 4) Going back to number 1, when the cooking part was over, a place to sit down, to eat, would have been great. 5) With all of the above, we will come back. Thanks for the opportunity to leave a few comments.

We did our class with Chef Monique and it was a very nice evening. Our food was very flavorful and we can’t wait to recreate the same dishes at home. I wish we were given papers with instruction or ingredients beforehand to take notes on, but that is my only critique.

Misleading! The course was promoted as being with Chef Randy - but when we arrived, they didnt know who Chef Randy was, and they didnt have any of our information. We were the only ones who enrolled thru Cozymeals. Chef Kyle seemed annoyed at having to teach the class. He wasnt very welcoming.

I did not get to attend the class due to the weather and the State issued travel warning advisory for the county I live in and the county the class was held in. All drivers were asked to refrain from driving. I’m so bummed and hoped a credit would be issued. I’ve called and left a message but haven’t heard back yet.

The title shouldn’t be called “date night” it should be called foursome as you have to share your cooking experience with another couple. The couple we were paired with didn’t give us an opportunity to cook anything and share in the fun experience. We were forced to watch everything be done with minimal participation. The food was good at the end but don’t think we would return.

Marshmallows, turtles, fudge & bark. We launched into the event not being told what recipe we were working on. There weren't the correct number or stations ready. We had to ask for missing ingredients and tools throughout. We weren't given the recipes and we were told they would be e-mailed...not received to date. It was a pleasant, slightly chaotic morning.

We cooked the French cuisine meal. It was with a substitute chef and unfortunately he was moving way too fast and didn’t really give clear instructions. The chicken did not appear to be fully cooked after the main chef and assistants baked it. and when asked about it he assured us it was okay…but my partner didn’t even want to eat it and felt sick from just looking at it. Overall, a fine experience, enjoyed working with another couple but felt like it was rushed and not worth the price.

I attended with a work group for a baking session of fair foods. I feel like the class was too short to allow the food to cook properly. My suggestion would be to extend that particular class to three hours versus two. I also felt like the class would be better if each person could prepare their own items instead of one item per table. This would allow the items to be taken home and eaten once set and cooled instead of divided too soon. I was looking forward to making the blueberry pie the most and felt a little disappointed that the crust was already made to chill. I find this to be one of the harder parts to making a pie and would have enjoyed the chef teaching us how to actually make the crust. We were able to roll it out and bake it and mix the inside ingredients. The class was really fun and would like to participate in other classes.

Not even close to expectation. Very little concept was taught/demonstrated on sushi making. Tuna was not sushi grade. No mention of any ideas like nigiri or hand roll. Had to ask for wasabi, ginger and soy sauce. Quite disappointing.

I really hope you read this!. I very rarely write poor reviews, but the class was expensive, and I was very disappointed. Firstly however, I just want to say that I liked the facility, and the supporting staff in the kitchen were phenomenal! However, I think the chef’s name was David, but he never introduced himself. It was stated in the description that it was a beginner class, however, he didn’t explain to us or show us how to do anything, so you had to ask. At that point, he was very condescending. For example, the first thing he had us do was separate egg yolks, but I’d never done that. He just told the class, “Separate the egg yolks,” and he never showed us HOW. What is intuitive to him is not intuitive to everyone, and that’s why we’re in the beginner class. He also didn’t tell us what we were doing for which dish. For example, “toast the capers.” For what? What will we be putting them in? In addition, the meal was way too complicated for beginners; there were too many dishes, and they were pretty difficult. My strong suggestion is that truly beginner classes should have smaller, less complicated meals so there is time to show people how to do it. And please don’t mark that it’s a class is for beginners when it’s really not. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this! I’m going to give it one more shot…

The meal was delicious; however, we were a little disappointed by the experience. 1. Upon arrival the greeting by the staff was cold 2. We scheduled this as a date night. Initially we were given our work space, then moved and grouped with others to complete the evening in a group setting (this was felt to be less work for the staff) 3. The Resident Chef did not appear to be very knowledgeable of the recipes being created. She continuously corrected herself and had to keep referring to the paper copy of the recipes. (we could have followed a recipe) 4. The Resident Chef would move quickly through steps giving instruction to the next step before the room was finished completing the previous step. 5. There were two assistants to the Resident Chef; however, they didn't assist. I guess I would have thought they should have been working the room making sure each table was completing tasks as directed and providing assistance or additional instruction, if needed. The entire evening felt like they were just going through the motions trying to get the evening over with and get us all out of there as quickly as possible Disappointing for the cost.

It wasn’t really a teaching experience as things were done in a chaotic way. We didn’t expect to be paired up with another couple as we thought this would be an opportunity for my husband and me to do all the cooking together apart from other couples. The chef wasn’t clear on which step we were on during the class and she seemed unprepared and uncomfortable.

We really enjoyed the class and the Chef. The pot we cooked in would be better positioned if it was assessable to everyone. The hood above the cooking area had a nasty layer of grime that surprised us.

We had a resident chef. Written recipes were not provided. The instructor was disorganized. There were 16 people in class when the work areas look designed for just 8 people. Because there were so many people, there wasn't enough dough to go around. What you show in photos is not at all what was made in class! This was a waste of money.
