What You’ll Do

Slice, sear, and sizzle your way to team success.

This team building activity blends skill-building with communication and collaboration in a way that’s simply unmatched by more traditional group session. Guided by a world-class chef, this class allows gourmet-minded groups to learn essential kitchen skills and get hands-on with mouth-watering recipes from around the world.

Various menus can be specified and tailored to your team’s taste too. Do you fancy pan-seared steak with Gorgonzola butter? How about skillet-fried chicken or a bistro-worthy crème brûlée? Whatever you choose, your team will be forced to pay attention, work methodically and perhaps most importantly, they’ll have to work together. They’ll get to sit together at the end of the class and enjoy a meal of their own making and even when the session ends, they’ll arrive back in the office with memories that are sure to inspire water-cooler conversations for months or years to come.

We made macarons! It was a a great experience. Although the macarons I made are not picture perfect, they turned out wonderful and tasted even better. It was fun to learn a new skill under the guidance of Chef Steve.

We cooked several things: pad thai, lemongrass infused jasmine rice, crispy thai shrimp with chili sauce and Pumpkin Curry soup. Easy to follow, got to engage in parts of cooking. It was a full class of 16 people. We were at tables of 4 and enjoyed working with the other 2 people at our table. The food was delicious and would make this for my monthly dinners with friends.

We enjoyed this class very much. It was less hands-on than we expected, but I understand now that 2 hours isn't enough time to make all three doughs, let them rise, and still bake them. Chef Sarah did demo the process though, so we got a chance to see yeast being bloomed and mixed in. We are definitely planning to check out more of these classes. Thank you!
