Sushi Rice

Servings: 3 cups

Time: 30 min

Ingredients

  • 5 Tablespoon(s) rice vinegar
  • 3 Tablespoon(s) granulated sugar
  • 2 Teaspoon(s) sea salt
  • 3 Cup(s) sushi rice

Directions

  1. Cook rice before class.
  2. Wash rice througly then add 3 cups of water and cook on low heat if using a pan. After cooked empty rice on a large bowl.
  3. On a separate bowl mix sugar, rice vinegar and salt and whisk til dry ingredients have dissolved.
  4. Add rice vinegar mixture to the cooked hot rice and mix well with a rice spoon.
  5. Leave at room temperature and cover the bowl with a piece of saran wrap.

Additional Notes

With a rice cooker, it takes 15 minutes and without it, it takes 20-25 minutes to make.
