Embark on a culinary journey to Japan in this five-star dining experience with Chef Andy.

During this private chef experience, Chef Andy will prepare an authentic four-course Japanese menu that showcases the country's unique flavor profiles. Some of the dishes you can look forward to enjoying include a wood ear mushroom and cucumber salad with ginger and sesame seeds, chef's choice torched sashimi, salmon maki and crêpes with matcha whipped cream.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to accompany the menu, and may request pairing recommendations from the chef upon booking.

Chef Andy's sushi making class exceeded expectations. I've only attempted to make sushi one other time early on in the pandemic to develop new hobbies/skills and failed. Knowing what I know now from Chef Andy (and Chef Emily), I'm ready to give it another shot! Chef taught us basic knife handling skills, tested our palates, and, of course, how to make a simply delicous maki roll. Early on in our class, it was evident to us that Chef Andy is really dedicated to his craft; which was nothing short of passionate and made the entire experience immersive and all the more enjoyable. Chef's apartment provided all of us with plenty of room and the atmosphere was most comforting. Thank you for teaching us what to look for when we order sushi at restaurants, how to tell what sushi grade fish is, and for recommending the types of knives to buy without breaking the bank. We certainly look forward to signing up for future classes to dive into other cuisines. Thank you for everything!

Chef Andy's sushi class was fun, delicious, & informational. He's extremely knowledgeable about ingredients, techniques, & the food he's making, & I definitely left with a heightened appreciation of sushi & cooking. I would definitely do another class with him!
