Online Cooking Class - Handcrafted Sushi
Learn how to make a variety of sushi favorites with Chef Vivian and Michi.
Join Chef Vivian and Michi as they guide you in this interactive, live virtual cooking class, and teach you every integral step to making picture-perfect Japanese cuisine. Learn how to make three different varieties filled with assorted vegetables, spicy tuna and a combination of crab, tuna and salmon. To accompany your rolls, you'll also make a crabstick and avocado salad with a sake and miso dressing.

- Class Participation Chime in with questions through audio or chat. Use of video is optional.
- Class Size Public class sizes are between 4 to 20 connections to provide an opportunity for all guests to participate and ask questions. Private classes can accommodate up to 498 guests.

It was highly enjoyable and delicious!! Very good instruction and Q&A during class. Suggest indicating ingredient prep more clearly, eg julienne vegs ahead of time, liquid proportion for mushrooms liquid, keeping fish frozen until use, etc.

My Cozymeal experience was amazing!!! We did the Sushi class for my friend's birthday, and we had a ball! Our chefs, Vivian and Michi, were a lot of fun and very knowledgeable. Everything was delicious! I will be using Cozymeal and most definitely using Chef Vivian and Michi again!

The class was very good. The instruction was as personalized as possible and Chef Vivian and Michi were extremely responsive and helpful. My only recommendation would be for the ingredient list to be provided as one comprehensive list for the course, as opposed to the ingredients-by-course; this made it a bit more work to make a shopping list.

Chef Vivian and Michi are absolutely wonderful!!!! Since we were quarantined, I purchased this class as a surprise birthday gift for my Sushi roll loving 12 year-old daughter. They both provided thorough instructions to follow along with and were very patient with her through the whole cooking/creating process. She is so excited to finally make her own Sushi rolls (my pocket$ are excited too ?). Thank Chef Vivian and Michi for making this such a great experience for her! It was the cherry on top for her birthday!!

A very fun and informational class. The chefs were easy to understand, patient, very knowledgeable, and had a good sense of humor. I liked the tidbits of information about different traditional Japanese techniques too. Would definitely take a class from them again!

My experience was good once I was able to log into the Zoom Meeting. There were some technical issues for me. However the content of the class was very good. The one thing that would really improve the delivery is a camera angle from above as well as in front of the chefs. It was difficult to see what was happening as well as keep up because by the time I could see what was expected they were moving on to the next step. Overall though I really enjoyed the class and learned quite a lot. Never made Sushi or Handrolls before. Thanks a lot for delivering great information and an enjoyable evening even if it was a virtual experience.

Great job! The food was great and the recipes easy to follow. The only thing I would change would be to find a way to make your screen visible at all times, or mute all attendees. Unfortunately, any time other attendees would talk, the screen would go to them in "speaker view" and we could not see what you were doing, so it was tough to make sure we were doing things correctly. And perhaps adding more to the prep list, like peeling the cucumber, peeling the carrots, and cooking the mushrooms beforehand. But this was really a fun experience, and I will recommend it to others!

We really enjoyed learning to make sushi with Chef Vivian and Michi! There were some technical difficulties but the chefs got us back in the mood for cooking with sake bombs. We will be making sushi again at home using the skills we learned.

Chef Vivian and Michi were incredible teachers! We had a blast learning how to make sushi. They were both so kind and patient and had an positive fun attitude that was contagious. It seemed like everyone had a really fun time. It was a great way to do something fun and mix things up.

We had a lot of fun, and enjoyed the class. As did our guests and friends. The Recipes were relatively easy, and delicious. Learned some new techniques too. The class was very fast paced, and we had some difficulty hearing the instructions. Also, the Chefs were not particularly chatty, but were friendly, and helpful.

Not enough time was allowed for cutting and preparing the veggies, etc., as we were not told to have all that done ahead of time, so I had to scramble to keep up with the pace of preparation because of that. Otherwise, it was very good and enjoyable, and I learned several things from their presentation.

They even packed up our leftovers to take home and added a little surprise in there for our daughter. We will definitely be back again, but this time we’ll bring the kids so they too can enjoy the experience :)

Super fun experience, and I loved that the recipes are easy to follow. I've already made the pineapple salsa (delicious) a second time because we loved it so much! Chef Vivian's energy is great, and she taught us how to heat tortillas properly. I see many Taco Tuesdays at home in my future! Thank you Chef Vivian and Michi!

It was so much fun and Vivian was a great teacher! The only thing negative is the last dish we prepared, poor Vivian was t expecting it because cozy meal should have taken it off of her menu and didn’t! She went ahead and made it with us because we all had the ingredients, but we felt bad for her because she felt unprepared. She was great and handled it very professionally.

A fun class and informational class. Living in AZ, we have a lot of experience with tacos, soft, hard shell, street tacos etc. When specifying tortillas for a class, it would be helpful to identify whether the tacos will be street tacos or otherwise and the size of tortillas to acquire pre class.

Chef Vivian and Michi were very friendly and helpful during our session. They were patient with people who didn't have ingredients. We would recommend they explain the steps a little better. I liked how they checked in with each person.

I thought the actual class was fabulous and fun!! I would have liked clearer instructions for what to buy- some ingredients were not on the list/ and clearer instructions on what to be done before class started. Also information telling us to cut the wrappers into circles in an earlier email not just right before class started. The recipes are delicious and the chefs were fun! We will definitely take another of their classses!

Went for our anniversary and loved this class!! Chef Vivian and Chef Michi are a lovely couple with a lot of experience and everything they taught us to make was delicious! They had everything prepped and ready to go which streamlined the whole class and the recipes were easy to follow. Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking about doing this class.
