Online Cooking Class - How to Master Sushi

Join Chef Josh as he introduces you to the culinary art of sushi roll creation.

During this live and interactive online cooking class with Chef Josh, you will learn how to master both hosomaki and uramki styles of sushi while also learning about the culture from which they emerge. You will begin by honing your knife and sauce-making skills. Then, Chef Josh will walk you through the steps to handcrafting refreshingly crunchy cucumber rolls as well as Chef Josh's flavor-packed special roll that will transport your taste buds to paradise!

    Public class sizes are between 4 to 20 connections to provide an opportunity for all guests to participate and ask questions. Private classes can accommodate up to 498 guests.

3 cups dry, sushi rice*
3 ¾ cup water, for cooking
11 tablespoons Seasoned Rice Vinegar
1 pkg of frozen Edamame beans in pod
Kosher sea salt
½ English Cucumber, cut into sticks
Sushi Rice, cooked, cooled and ready
Nori (Japanese seaweed)
¼ cup dry Wasabi Powder
Pickled Ginger
Soy Sauce or Lite Soy Sauce, for dipping
13 oz - Crab Meat or Imitation Crab, broken down and water content squeezed out
½ cup Mayonnaise or vegan mayonnaise
1 ripe Avocado
1 English Cucumber, prepped into sticks
1/3 cup Cilantro leaf, fresh
2-3 Jalapeno, slice thinly
1-2 Limes, sliced thinly
Sriracha Sauce
Sushi Rice, cooked, cooled and ready
Nori (Japanese seaweed)
¼ cup Wasabi powder, dry
Pickled Ginger
Soy Sauce or Lite Soy Sauce, for dipping
½ cup mayonnaise
1-2 tbsp sriracha sauce
1 small garlic clove, finely minced
