From the gritty roots of Five Points to vibrant street food and classic Italian pastries, this is New York's rich immigrant heritage served one stop at a time.

The tour begins at Columbus Park – once the notorious Five Points battleground immortalized in Gangs of New York – before winding through crispy handmade dumplings, a flaky roast pork pastry born in 1940s Hong Kong and the dazzling sweets of Chinatown's busiest bakeries. Cross into Little Italy to visit a legendary Italian bakery dating to 1892, step inside a bar made famous by mob films and finish with a mini New York-style cheesecake. The tour organizer changed the location at the last minute to a new location over 1.5 miles away. Unacceptable. Would be better off picking a different one.

Beautiful Greenwich Village may be explored on a great walking tour. When we walked and ate our way through the village with David as our guide, we really felt like natives. David was also friendly, knowledgeable, and entertaining. The variety of cuisine was excellent, and the accompanying stories gave the dish much more significance. Thank you David for a wonderful day! it was the high point of our trip to New York.
