Learn to fuse tried and true traditional French techniques with the exoticism of Japanese cuisine.

In this hands-on class with Chef Stephanie, you will discover how beautifully French and Japanese play together as you work your way through preparing Chef Stephanie's unique four-course fusion menu.

You will begin by learning how to make a succulent shrimp satay. Next, you will move onto a simple stir-fried chicken dish complete with a sweet and sour tamarind glaze as well as a classic French cucumber salad infused with Japanese lemongrass. Lastly, you will hone an authentic French pastry technique to bake a luscious custard starring star anise.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Stephanie made this as much fun as it was a great learning experience. My family and I have wanted to learn how to make these pastries for a long time and Chef Stephanie could not have made it more enjoyable. Kudos to the Chef.We are thinking of taking the macaroon class with her.

Our afternoon learning how to mix and pipe our own Pâte à Choux with an experienced teacher in Chef Stephanie was nothing short of amazing. Chef's Stephanie's intimate setting and encouragement was the perfect complement to my girlfriend's amusement over my awful piping bag technique. She also took the time to explain how and why her technique is translatable to industry standards and practices. Chef took the time to show us how to correct our (many) mistakes and highlights the artisanal details necessary to perfect our dish. We are already looking forward to our next class, hopefully one which includes fruity tarts! Thank you Chef Stephanie!

Chef Stephanie was the perfect teacher for French macarons, something my boyfriend had been wanting to make himself for years. Her patient, show-then-practice technique made the experience fun and took the intimidation factor out of it. Her personality was incredibly charming and comforting. She provided thorough recipes, tons of important tips and tricks, and a delicious product. Her life experiences and love and dedication to her craft make her an excellent teacher and chef whom we'll be back to see for other great classes. We can't recommend her more!
