In this hands-on class with Chef April, you will get to experience some of the true Italian classics that are light, unique, and easy for you to prepare at home!
Using Italian flavors, professional techniques and healthy ingredients, Chef April will teach you three delicious courses of authentic Italian cuisine. Chef April knows that the American understanding of Italian food tends toward heavy dishes like lasagna, bolognese, and other bready, calorie-rich dishes. But in reality, so much of authentic Italian cuisine is bright, fresh, and filled with seasonal ingredients!
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

April was very professional and a terrific host. She obviously knew a lot about the food and made sure everyone was comfortable and got to participate in the process. The food at the end of the night was delicious.

Chef April was incredible. She's really knowledgable and does a great job of creating an environment where people feel comfortable to ask questions and to try things that they might not know how to do or be comfortable doing. There were plenty of opportunities to get your hands dirty but she never pushed you if you didn't want to. The food was also delicious. We definitely feel confident we could make it again and will definitely be looking at taking more classes from her in the future.
Meet your chef
After beginning her culinary career as a dishwasher, Chef April has climbed the ladder and worked all the way to her current position as the founder and head teacher of a skills development cooking school. Chef April also has extensive knowledge and experience working in the world of pastry and baking, having worked in an organic bakery in France as well as running the kitchen at a one-of-a-kind cupcake shop in Kenya.
