In this hands-on class, Chef April will show you how to turn some of your classic childhood favorites into from-scratch meals with refined flavors.
In this class, you'll take inspiration from childhood dishes — think pepperoni and cheese hand pies, macaroni and cheese, and cookies — and recreate them from scratch using fresh ingredients. Your finished dishes will be homemade, complex, and much more nutritionally balanced meals. These recipes are designed to be easy to adapt with different ingredient combinations, making it simple to take your new knowledge home with you.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Such a fun night. April is very knowledgeable, welcoming, friendly, and shared lots of tips. The ingredients were high quality and fresh and finished results were delicious! Would highly recommend to all my friend. Great date night with your hubby, girls night, mother daughter night.

Chef April was fantastic! I really enjoyed all her recipes and helpful tips about different cooking techniques, like how to cook a perfect poached egg. Or secret ingredients that make pasta a light, fresh and delicious meal. Her place is absolutely warm and welcoming. I highly recommend Chef April to all food lovers!
Meet your chef
After beginning her culinary career as a dishwasher, Chef April has climbed the ladder and worked all the way to her current position as the founder and head teacher of a skills development cooking school. Chef April also has extensive knowledge and experience working in the world of pastry and baking, having worked in an organic bakery in France as well as running the kitchen at a one-of-a-kind cupcake shop in Kenya.
