Cooking Class - Mastering Crudo
In this hands-on cooking class, Chef Sharon will show you how to master crudo at home. Crudo, which literally translates as "raw" in Italian, is perhaps the best — and simplest — way to eat sparkling fresh seafood.
Chef Sharon invites you to get creative while learning how to highlight and enhance the very best the sea has to offer. Some of the stunning dishes you can expect to create in this class include a classic ceviche, shrimp tossed in a chile water, sliced salmon with passion fruit and pistachios, and spicy tuna accented by Thai chilis.
Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
Traditional White Fish Ceviche
With citrus, onions, cilantro, leche de tigre, sweet potatoes and hominy
With lime, cilantro, jalapeños, red onions, cucumber and orange
With passion fruit, pistachios, lemon jelly, radishes, cilantro and flowers
With soy sauce, limes, cilantro, cucumber, avocado and Thai chilis
Yuzu and Rose Pie
With custard cream, edible flowers, caramel candy and vanilla cookie crust
