What You'll Do

Make fresh ravioli and Italian-American favorites in this cooking class in Omaha.

Bring everyone into the kitchen for an Italian American feast in this family cooking class in Omaha. You’ll make fresh pasta dough and shape it into three-cheese ravioli served with marinara, roast broccoli with Parmesan and bake playful cannoli cupcakes for dessert. Chef Amjad or a resident chef will guide kids and adults through rolling pasta, filling ravioli and other approachable techniques everyone can help with. This cooking class in Omaha gives families the chance to cook together while building useful skills and creating a comforting meal completely from scratch.

Tea, coffee and water will be provided. Guests are welcome to bring non-alcoholic beverages.

This class is suitable for ages 7+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

The class was so much fun. This was a birthday gift for my partner. He loves cooking. You could see his excitement, that he even spell my name wrong on our name tags. He was so intrigued by the class. He would love to do other classes in the future. Plus, he told me, if he has the right equipment, he would make fresh pasta. I'm definitely buying that.

Chef Trisha was excellent! She was funny, patient, knowledgeable and personable. My husband and I shared this wonderful dinner experience of learning about ingredients, how to prepare a French inspired meal with others from the community. At end we all were able to partake in what our hands had created. Definitely a memorable experience.

We were very pleased with our cooking class experience with Chef Amjad. He created a fun, hands-on learning environment - that helped some out of their comfort zone - but with skilled guidance was able to help all complete each task to complete the meal. If you've never tried tried this kind of experience I encourage you to do so with Chef Amjad.

This class exceeded my expectations. I'm nervous about cooking, but Chef Ajmad was a great instructor. He explained everything, tools, processes, and made me feel like I was part of the cooking experience. Chef Amjad spent only 10 or so minutes explaining some of the ingredients before handing it off to his assistant then left. His assistant did a great job with the rest of the class. She took her time explaining everything to the kids and was all around great instructor.
