What You'll Do

Make classic bakery-style treats in this beginner-friendly cooking class in Murray.

In this cooking class in Murray (Salt Lake City), you’ll bake a lineup inspired by classic New York treats. With Chef Joseph or a resident chef, make creamy mini cheesecakes, flaky individual apple pies, soft black and white cookies and crisp cannoli with a sweet filling. Hi all amazing chefs, thank you for the classes and for the experience of cooking in a kitchen with other people. As an introvert, this not only helped me in breaking out of my comfort zone but also learnt some really amazing dishes. I got to learn and cook three chicken dishes: roasted chicken, chicken soup and fried chicken. With the chef's help we were able to cook a really good meals additionally got some pointers on the temperature setting for proper roast; which I really appreciated. Best parts would be to meet new people, cook with them and of course learning new culinary arts. Thank you again for the experience; really enjoyed it and looking forward to take more classes. PS: Forgot about the pictures; ended up finishing the meal before taking any snaps.

The chef we had (Chef Dulce) was great. The instruction, food, and atmosphere were also terrific. I think the only thing that was off was the communication. It would have been a lot simpler for my team (I booked for 12) if the Cozymeal email had explained this event would take place inside a mall.

The class was so much fun and we enjoyed it. The only think we wish could have been a bit better for the price was if there was a little bit more supervision/personalized tips from the assistants to help us make sure our bread actually came out well. Our focaccia ended up being uneven and not well browned when other group’s were, so we wished they gave us more individual tips as we went

Everything tasted great and the chef instructor was kind and fun, but we felt the food presentation was very different from what was advertised in the photos for the class. I was looking forward to learning some upscale plating techniques as was pictured and that aspect of the final product was a little underwhelming. I think it would be better to use more representative photos of what you will actually make in the class instead of something that is quite different.

We did not have chef Zach but the chef we had was excellent. Instructions clear and visuals were good. She explained why things happen and gave us hints on how to be better bakers. Her assistant was also excellent. She was patient and helpful.

Really fun and busy class making pad Thai, deep fried lemongrass corn fritters, shrimp curry, and enjoying coconut rice afterwards, in a group of 12. It was nice to review knife skills as well. Great date or special occasion activity

The food was terrific but the class was not very interactive. We stood around watching the chef cut and mix ingredients. Definitely wanted a more hands on experience. Additionally, the chef said he would email the recipes and we have yet to receive them 4 days later.

For $99 per person, we got pretty awful cuts of beef, didn’t really learn anything, and just kind of threw a whole bunch of ingredients together while the instructor practically made everything. It was kind of like a labor intensive dinner where you had to stand at a very low table to eat a meal in 20 minutes. Seems like a fun date night, and it was A fine experience overall, but skip this and spend $99 on An amazing steak dinner . A haphazard lesson about chopping herbs is not worth the money.
