What You'll Do

Learn how to make homemade pasta from scratch in this immersive cooking class in Kirkland.

Roll up your sleeves for a harvest-inspired pasta menu in this interactive cooking class in Kirkland (Seattle). With Chef Peter or a resident chef guiding you along, you'll mix up fresh pasta dough, shape farfalle by hand and toss it with roasted sweet corn, bacon and a swirl of crème fraîche. You'll also cook linguine with shrimp, cherry tomatoes and basil and put together a nectarine salad with a bright white balsamic vinaigrette. Along the way, you'll pick up real pasta-making skills and a feel for seasonal cooking. This cooking class in Kirkland (Seattle) is a great way to build pasta confidence from scratch.

Tea, coffee and water will be provided. Guests are welcome to bring non-alcoholic beverages.

This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

Chef Peter's culinary journey may have begun in Northern California, but it's taken him around the U.S., with stops in D.C. and Nantucket. He honed his talent in well-regarded eateries, eventually rising to the level of executive chef. His restaurant experience includes a stint at the Watergate Hotel. Now happily settled in Seattle, Chef Peter is often found sharing his skills in cooking classes and with local and national nonprofits.

Chef Paul was great, detail oriented and answered my questions that had nothing to do with donuts. My nephew and I had a wonderful time. I love the open, bright kitchen and will be back to attend other classes for sure.

Chocolate tarts, chocolate truffles and double chocolate brownies. Chef was fantastic. It was a very enjoyable and informative learning experience. I will definitely look into future classes.
