Learn to make a variety of summer tarts from scratch in this hands-on cooking class in Boulder. You’ll prepare both pâte sucrée and pâte brisée, then use them to create a fruit tart, a honeyed apricot and almond tart and a savory squash and ricotta tart with pesto. Chef Ashley or a resident chef will guide you through dough preparation, shaping and baking techniques. Cameron was our chef. We had steak with a red wine shallot reduction, twice baked potatoes, arugula pear salad with chocolate mousse for dessert. It was fun as well as delicious. My husband, who is not a cook would definitely do another class. I have decades of cooking experience and still learned a few things. All around is was a great experience.

We cooked a Parisian salmon dinner with roasted potatoes and Crepe Suzettes. Plus a delicious berry drink.
