What You'll Do

Cook a seasonal seafood menu in this hands-on cooking class.

Prepare an elegant seafood menu in this interactive cooking class in Carmel (Indianapolis). With guidance from Chef Randy or a resident chef, you’ll pan-sear salmon, steam mussels and poach shrimp while learning how to season and cook seafood properly. You’ll also observe a fish butchery demo and tasting to better understand cuts and preparation. Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Kind of disappointing experience - the food was pretty average, the class felt disorganized, and we watched more cooking than we did. Many ingredients were prepped ahead of time which may have helped the class go faster but knowing how to prep ingredients is a key step for people looking to learn new skills for use at home.

This class was an absolute blast! We learned how to make our own pasta along with a delicious pastry dessert. Chef Randy was patient, inclusive, communicative, and an excellent teacher. He focused on technique, made cleanliness a priority, and encouraged fun during the process. We will absolutely be back for another class!
