Encourage your teen to strengthen cooking fundamentals in this four-day cooking series.
Push skills further in this interactive cooking series in Columbus created for teens ready to move beyond the basics. With step-by-step guidance from Chef Jennifer or a chef instructor, students will poach and sous-vide eggs, master hollandaise using multiple methods, shape dumplings with crispy skirts and bake and decorate layered cakes with Swiss meringue frosting. Each day focuses on managing heat, balancing flavors and executing techniques cleanly. This cooking series in Columbus offers a structured, skill-forward learning experience.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Meet your chef
Chef Jennifer has been passionate about cooking since crafting her own meatloaf recipe at age eight. She holds a BA in Art History from the University of Louisville and spent her early career as a visual merchandise manager and scenic artist. After raising three daughters, Chef Jennifer honed her skills further at The Columbus Culinary Institute, earning an Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts. For the past decade, she has worked as a personal chef, media food stylist and chef instructor.
