Team Building - Taste of Madrid
Join in some friendly competition with your team as you try your hand at a menu madrileño. Under Chef Joseph’s watchful eye, you will create four favorite dishes he discovered while working in Madrid. This class will encourage your team to focus on kitchen safety, classic cooking techniques and inspiration from local flavors. The group will begin preparing goat cheese stuffed dates wrapped in bacon, learn to sear cod saffron and create a classic cream sauce. Of course, no Spanish cooking class would be complete without creating a traditional seafood paella, your meal with then be capped off with a port affogato.
Chef Joseph’s culinary character leans toward the Spanish as he honed his cooking skills in Madrid. Armed with this knowledge, he draws inspiration from local Seattle ingredients to fuse with traditional recipes. By combining local proteins and Mediterranean flair, he aims to bring sophistication and fun into his hands-on classes.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
