Bond over rich Italian flavors in this romantic cooking workshop.

Join Chef Michael or one of the talented resident chefs in Woodmere (Cleveland) for a date night cooking class filled with Italian classics. Begin with shrimp scampi served over homemade spaghetti, brighten the menu with a salad of shaved radish, fennel and herbs, then bake a golden pear crostata topped with fluffy whipped cream. You’ll also practice the art of making fresh pasta dough by hand. This cooking class in Woodmere (Cleveland) combines romance, creativity and incredible food. Whether you’re new to the kitchen or seasoned at-home cooks, you’ll leave with Italian-inspired dishes and unforgettable memories together.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Michael arrived in the culinary world as an all-around creative looking for his next challenge. His career in environmental and graphic design included work with Toyota and Amazon before his fascination with cuisine led him to Le Cordon Bleu for a blue ribbon program of study. He honed his talents further as assistant pastry chef at Le Marais. Now, Chef Michael applies his creativity to teaching others the art of cuisine.

An amazing experience! Nothing was rushed. Everything was well prepared and planned out. The chef made us feel comfortable and relaxed the whole time. We are definitely scheduling another time for a different menu!

My son and I had a great time at the cooking class. Chef Michael was really good with the class, getting everyone involved and offering lots of useful cooking tips. We would definitely take another class.

While Chef Michael is very knowledgeable (which is why I'm putting 2 stars instead of 1), it was frustrating that almost nothing was that hands on and everything was done for us in advance. I wish I could get a refund or credit to try a different class because nothing new was learned and the only thing my partner did was break lettuce in half, when this was a surprise birthday gift for him. We both were disappointed. The only thing I did was cut parsley and mix butter. I would have loved to go back and try a new course, but I spent $200 on this one and really regret it. If I could sign up for a different course, my mind would maybe change but as of now, I don't recommend spending that much money unless there's a guarantee that it's hands on.

I attended this class with my 10 year old stepdaughter. We had a blast! There are times we would have enjoyed doing more, like making the broth or pickled mushrooms, however I understand the time constraints. Chef Michael was very clear and relatable and we would definitely come again!

I loved the class. The ladies I was paired up with were a little chatty so was hard to listen to chef! Before class I was very intimidated but after class I was I got this! Excited to try making fresh pasta my self! Great class over all would definitely take again!

My husband and I had an enjoyable time. The food turned out excellent. Chef Joy and the others in the class were delightful to be around. There was a lot of standing. I wish we had been able to at least sit down to eat the delicious food. Overall great experience.
