What You’ll Do

Take the fear out of this retro kitchen appliance and put it to work.

Is your pressure cooker still in its box, hidden in a cupboard, gathering dust? Is the fear of it exploding hot food all over your kitchen compelling you to give it away? Not to worry, Chef Stacy will hold your hand as she extolls the genius of this old school kitchen gadget and get it working for you to create delicious and nutritious meals in a fraction of the time as conventional methods.

Chef Stacy will demonstrate how passion for high-quality, fresh ingredients and superior flavor marries perfectly in your pressure cooker. She will take you, step-by-step, through the basics of pressure cooker safety, operation and cleaning, and cook up a heavenly chicken fricassee for good measure. Pair it with egg noodles and your one-pot dinner is ready to serve.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

We cooked Boozy Hot Chocolate and 3 different types of chocolate barks. I learned how to make bark and will do so in the future.

Our office booked a cooking class with Chef Stacy to celebrate the holidays and whipped up hot chocolate and various chocolate barks. The recipes were easy to follow and fit within a perfect amount of time to accommodate our workday (1.5 hours). It was a fun and social event, and I appreciate Chef Stacy chatting and engaging with us, as well as sharing some of her pro cooking and prep tips!

The best part of cooking is learning about food with friends and that is exactly what happened. Stacy is an amazing fun chef that taught us how to make Thai food and it was delicious!
