Cooking Class - DIY Korean BBQ

What You'll Do

Learn to make traditional Korean BBQ dishes in the comfort of your home kitchen.

If you’re excited to try Korean BBQ at home, this cooking class is the perfect place to begin. Grill tender bulgogi beef and wrap it in crisp lettuce, then cook savory scallion pancakes until golden and crispy. Next, stir-fry glass noodles with a rich marinade and a rainbow of fresh vegetables. Finish with a tangy marinated cucumber salad, topped with scallions and sesame seeds.

Tea, coffee and water will be provided. Guests are welcome to bring non-alcoholic beverages.

This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

Chef Peter's culinary journey may have begun in Northern California, but it's taken him around the U.S., with stops in D.C. and Nantucket. He honed his talent in well-regarded eateries, eventually rising to the level of executive chef. His restaurant experience includes a stint at the Watergate Hotel. Now happily settled in Seattle, Chef Peter is often found sharing his skills in cooking classes and with local and national nonprofits.

Chocolate tarts, chocolate truffles and double chocolate brownies. Chef was fantastic. It was a very enjoyable and informative learning experience. I will definitely look into future classes.

The Thai dinner. Learned to crush lemon grass when using it. Learned that I am working "too hard" when I'm chopping veggies. Enjoyable experience!
