This sushi cooking class incorporated a full range of delights: spring rolls, noodles and vegetable mix, sushi wraps and matcha drink. The class takes place in a private home; the chef is energetic and personable. The hands-on learning gave each participant (three teenagers and two grandparents) an interactive experience. Each of us delighted in the tastes of our own interests without the chef being overbearing on how we were cooking. This provided some individuality to the class. One participant was a vegan and the chef made special accommodations for her. The best learning our family had was to not be timid about trying different foods and to openly explore cooking styles.

We had a fantastic time! Our chefs were incredibly welcoming and wonderfully organized, making the entire experience so enjoyable. Not only did we learn how to prepare delicious sushi, but we also had a blast making fresh spring rolls and a flavorful garlic noodle dish. Every moment was fun, engaging, and truly memorable.

We had such a a great time making sushi. I had made sushi in the past on my own, but I legitimately left this class with new learned skills and techniques that no amount of youtube videos could've provided. My sushi looks so much better now.
