What You’ll Do

This five-day summer series is a must for culinary kids hoping to sharpen their skills.

If your kids have been begging to help more in the kitchen, this five-day cooking class series is sure to give them the skills they need to do just that. With a renowned chef leading the way, they’ll start by learning the essentials of kitchen safety. They’ll then learn the preparation and cooking techniques required to make dishes like sushi, fried rice and even fresh pasta. Armed with a printed menu and a certificate of their achievements, they’ll leave with the knowledge they need to finally become your own personal sous chefs.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Meet your chef


Chef Jennifer has been passionate about cooking since crafting her own meatloaf recipe at age eight. She holds a BA in Art History from the University of Louisville and spent her early career as a visual merchandise manager and scenic artist. After raising three daughters, Chef Jennifer honed her skills further at The Columbus Culinary Institute, earning an Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts. For the past decade, she has worked as a personal chef, media food stylist and chef instructor.
