What You’ll Do

This four-day camp teaches kids how to bake with sweet batter and savory dough recipes.

Each day of this four-day cooking class series transports young chefs to their favorite bakery. Kids ages 7-11 will explore classic recipes like muffins, cakes, pizza dough and focaccia bread. With guidance from an expert pastry chef, students learn essential baking skills, build confidence and unleash their creativity. By the end, they’ll go home with a printed menu, graduation certificate and skills that last a lifetime.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Meet your chef


Chef Kate has been surrounded by the food industry since childhood. Her dream of becoming a chef led her to a 30-year career working as an Executive Chef for some of the largest corporations in the world. Her travels took her to the East Coast while she helped open a variety of restaurants and cafes. Now settled in Dallas, Chef Kate loves spending time with her family and enjoying the great outdoors with her granddaughters.

It was a good experience. Enjoyed the food prep and learned a few techniques I’ll use at home. The process was a bit different than I expected but having not gone before that’s ok. It was just different from other classes I’ve taken.
