Bond over your shared love of Chinese takeout in this family-friendly cooking class.

If you’re looking to bond with your family over your shared love of bold flavors, this takeout-themed cooking class might just be for you. In it, with the help of a master chef, you and your little chefs (aged seven and up) will learn the time-honored techniques required to rustle up your Friday takeout favorites. Think vegetable lo mein, chicken and chive dumplings with ginger sauce and an orange sorbet for dessert.

Tea, coffee and water will be provided. Guests are welcome to bring non-alcoholic beverages.

This class is suitable for ages 7+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

We had the resident chef for our class. It was a woman who actually didn’t introduce herself/name. I liked how ingredients was organized. My only suggestion would be to have the lead chef possibly use a mic so everyone can hear (even over the kids since I went to a Mother’s Day event class). Everything tasted great. However, the lemon bars were still liquid texture and some guests ended up leaving without taking them home because we waited 20 min for it cook in the oven and then even after they were not set because they would have to be refrigerated to become solid texture.
