Chef Perez was very easy to work with and communicate with. We had so much fun and the food was absolutely delicious! Can’t wait to do it again! Such a fun surprise for my husband‘s birthday!!

Chef was super friendly and very talented! The food was fantastic! However, he did not serve dishes to the table, and did not wash all dishes after. The leftover mess took more than an hour to clear. For large groups, he would need a sous chef

Booked the class Elegance of Surf and Turf with Chef Perez in San Diego (Mira Mesa)

Excellent meal. Cleanup incomplete. Stoivetop not wiped down dirty dishes and pan in sink because they didn't fit in dishwasher. Floor dirty. Chef was at end of very long day but I suggest having chef arrive 2 hours or more before serving food and staying to clean kitchen. If I do this again it will not be at home but in Chef kitchen.

Booked the class Nourishing Gourmet Dishes with Chef Perez in El Cajon

I purchased this meal experience for my friend's birthday. My bestie is sensitive to dairy, so Chef Perez custom-designed a menu with her in mind. We had an amazing meal (with the Spiced Red Wine Poached Pears being the absolute highlight) and learned some knife/cooking skills throughout the night. Can't wait to get the recipes, so we can try these dishes out with our family/friends!

Booked the class Refined Italian Classics with Chef Perez in Oceanside

We had the best time with Chef Perez. My 4 teenage girls loved all the skills they learned. Some kids try cooking on their own and just one bad experience leaves them not wanting to ever try again. With this amazing Chef these girls gained confidence, and skills to last a lifetime. Chef was so patient with the girls, teaching them knife skills, to slice anything from bread to tomatoes, herbs and more. He would guide each one so they were confident to keep trying til they were finally getting the skill down. They learned to make define custard, grate lemons, make homemade salad dressing with homemade croutons -Fresh pasta, running their dough through the pasta maker, they loved it. Highly recommend Chef Perez, truly gifted Chef and teacher and patient!

Chef Perez offered a creative, fun, and informative way to improve my cooking skills while making a beautiful multi-course meal in my home. I learned about caring for my knives, leveled up my knife skills, and experimented with new flavors. I am so excited to continue practicing and growing as a home cook with these new tips and tricks, and I’ll be signing up to learn from him again. Highly recommend this class.
