In this date night cooking class, let the flavors of Acapulco whisk you away to sun-kissed shores. Prepare tequila lime shrimp with a bright mango-cilantro relish, pair it with poblano rice and grill fresh corn topped with chile-lime butter and queso fresco. Finish your romantic meal on a sweet note with cinnamon horchata ice cream. Experience would have been better if there cooking was not divided up among 4 people. The cooking is dramatically diminished when you have to divide up the cooking among 4 individuals. It not quite fair considering each person paid $100 for the experience. I did not pay to watch other people cook for me.

The resident chef was informative, enthusiastic, friendly, helpful and fun!! My complaints are that it was very expensive and the food was cold when we ate it. The food was fun to make and we learned a lot.

The meal was okay. Our burner didn’t work well so our stake didn’t sear. The marketing said there would be coffee, water and tea. There was little cups of water that are given at a doctors office which isn’t appropriate when one pays $100 per person. Also—14 people in such a small setting isn’t ideal either. The room is better for 4 couples so we all have sufficient space. I’m disappointed to say the least

We had a different Chef. Vietnamese guy and he was great! Great things about this experience: 1- Learned new cooking techniques 2- Chef was super attentive and answered all questions asked 3- smooth process Things I would've liked instead: 1- I would've preferred being in a group of two instead of four to get more hands on experience. 2- correct ingredients.

This class was misrepresented as steak and gnocchi when, in reality, they hid the fact that it was risotto and Chicken thigh. On top of that, we had to share a cooking station with another couple and were given a single piece of chicken each to eat. For the price, I would never recommend doing this class. Maybe if they paid you, it would be worth it, but I would tell anyone considering doing this to do it at home with the help of a YouTube video. It will be more romantic, and you'll actually cook what you plan, not some random meal that was hidden in the website.

Absolutely loved the class. I'm an experienced baker and have wanted to make macarons. The instructor was extremely knowledgeable. I enjoyed the class so much, I'm considering taking the class again as it was so much fun!!!

I loved the class. The ladies I was paired up with were a little chatty so was hard to listen to chef! Before class I was very intimidated but after class I was I got this! Excited to try making fresh pasta my self! Great class over all would definitely take again!
