The cooking class exceeded our expectations. I booked it for my husband’s bday present and Chef Dean made the whole experience very special! Also, Chef Dean is from the same island, as my husband. He truly treated us like Ohana. The food was AMAZING. He sent us home with all of the leftovers, so we were able to share what we had created with family. One of the recipes in particular we’re excited to use as our go-to for family gatherings! It’s impressive but not overly complicated to make now that we’ve made it once. Highly recommend! Thanks Chef Dean!

We had the absolute pleasure of being hosted by Chef Dean for a private dinner experience to celebrate my husband’s birthday—and wow, it was beyond amazing! From start to finish, the entire evening was filled with joy, flavor, and meaningful connection. Chef Dean is not just incredibly talented in the kitchen—he’s a natural storyteller and teacher. As he guided us in preparing each dish, he walked us through the process with such ease and passion, explaining techniques, ingredients, and even sprinkling in fascinating stories from his culinary journey. We learned so much about Asian cuisine—its diversity, cultural significance, and the personal favorites that inspire Chef Dean’s creations. It wasn’t just a meal—it was a rich, immersive experience that left us not only full, but truly fulfilled. If you’re looking for a memorable and heartwarming culinary adventure, we can’t recommend Chef Dean enough!
