What You’ll Do

Explore the exciting world of Persian cooking in this interactive class.

The food from Persia is all about diverse flavors and colorful presentation which you will learn how to make in this exploring rich Persian cuisine cooking class. Join a five-star chef and learn how to make exciting meals like a simple chopped cucumber and tomato salad with fresh mint. For protein, you'll be preparing grilled saffron chicken kabobs and Persian rice. Dessert is dreamy pistachio cream puffs.

Tea, coffee and water will be provided. Guests are welcome to bring non-alcoholic beverages.

This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

Chef Peter's culinary journey may have begun in Northern California, but it's taken him around the U.S., with stops in D.C. and Nantucket. He honed his talent in well-regarded eateries, eventually rising to the level of executive chef. His restaurant experience includes a stint at the Watergate Hotel. Now happily settled in Seattle, Chef Peter is often found sharing his skills in cooking classes and with local and national nonprofits.

Chocolate tarts, chocolate truffles and double chocolate brownies. Chef was fantastic. It was a very enjoyable and informative learning experience. I will definitely look into future classes.

The Thai dinner. Learned to crush lemon grass when using it. Learned that I am working "too hard" when I'm chopping veggies. Enjoyable experience!
