Macarons given the sweet chocolate treatment will be your new favorite fall treat.
Cooking Class Description: Macarons date back to 1660 when King Louis XIV of France ate macarons at his wedding, but they are as popular today as ever. In this 3-hour class, we teach you the art of making these precious and beautiful desserts from scratch. Try your hand at whipping meringue and mixing batter to deliver crisp shells packed with cocoa flavor. Once the shells are ready, you’ll pipe in the decadent fillings to create delicate macarons that are sure to impress. By the end of class, you’ll go home with a box of your chocolaty confections.
Tea, coffee and water will be provided. Guests are welcome to bring non-alcoholic beverages.
This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.
